Great nail salon located in a Small strip mall in Kailua. Michele did a fantastic job on my acrylic nails and gave me exactly what I asked for. The prices are not cheap but are competitive for the area. This will be my new salon going forward.
Came here on a sunday for the first time, and had a great experience. **Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment. I brought my daughter and 2 nieces (ages 7-9) for a birthday girls day out. They had manis and full pedis, they loved it! They were treated nicely. They got little designs of their choosing on their fingernails. It was priced great for their little girl mani and pedis combo. I got a basic pedicure with gel polish(+15$ for gel), the massage was so good! I also asked them to fix my broken toenail that didn't grow back yet, and they did a great job. You can't even tell i have a fake toenail. Lol. I can't remember my techs name, but my gel came out good. Its not sticky nor lumpy. Will return again and hopefully get great service again.
ETA: I loved how well they treated my girls, so I came back today to get my own pedicure, and it was fantastic! They're very thorough, thoughtful, careful, gentle, and sweet, and my feet look and feel amazing! It's a small shop in an older building, but the service can't be beat! I'll be back, 100%!
I took our daughters (ages 7 & 10) for a quick pedicure. Their legs weren't quite long enough to reach the water, so they didn't do a full session, but the ladies were so sweet and made them feel pampered nonetheless! They clipped and shaped their nails, painted them, and added a coat of glitter, and my kids were over the moon. It was fast, but gentle and sweet, and very reasonably priced. Our girls were beaming the entire time! I plan on coming here soon for my own pedicure. ❤️
I used to go to other nail salons in kailua. The other nail salons were rude, constantly rushed, rushed turns to hurting me and expected a tip without saying a thank you. BUT with shine nails, my nail tech gives me an appt schedule so i don’t wait too long and she takes her time. She’s very patient too when I change my nail design. And most importantly my nails turn out just the way I like it!
Best nail salon I've been to. Very professional, attentive, and friendly. They always ensure to take care of what you need. Great prices, comfortable chairs, and the color is always perfect. Best to make a reservation, usually very busy. We won't go anywhere else.
Incredibly rude service. I walked in to get a manicure and everyone was busy, after I get acknowledged a lady asks me what I need to get done, I say manicure. She sees that nobody is free and then asks me” is that all you’re getting done?” I tell her yes, she doesn’t say anything and keeps working on her client. I keep waiting, the store phone rings and she picks up the call completely ignoring me. I just left. Just rude rude business.
The ladies here do an amazing job. I always come back here. After having bad experiences in many nail salons this is the place I really feel welcomed and not judged. They also are not questioning you down about your life so you feel relaxed.
My wife is 7 months pregnant, we live in Laie which is 1 hour away. She called twice this morning and made an appointment for 3pm, we get there a little early and go in and tell the name and time of reservation and they don’t have us in their schedule and have no idea what we’re talking about. My wife shows them her phone and that she called the right number, still no record of appointment. How hard is it to just make an appointment in your calendar!?! Absolute joke, never coming back here again.
