Been going to Scissors for over a decade and never had anything less than a great experience. Very friendly, hardworking people. Great prices for better service.
I just moved to the area and was looking for an independently owned barber shop within walking distance. My hair is an easy cut so no need to spend a lot of money. I saw the listing for Scissors specializing in men's hc's. I called and they were very nice and able to take me that afternoon. The shop is very neat and clean. It is owned and operated by a man and woman, I assume husband and wife. They were very friendly. Penny cut my hair and did a great job. And it was only $20 (+$5 tip) It was a great find. These are the types of businesses that we need more of.
Quick and decent. For 20$ and 15 minutes of time you’ll get a fairly decent cut. You can walk in for an appointment, or call in advance.
Great place. Both are wonderful at giving professional cuts and it is very affordable.
Always a great cut and even better service. Have been going for many months and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jenny is the absolute best! She is the only stylist I will go to. listened to exactly what I wanted in a cut while offering her own expertise.
I thought I booked an appointment for 5pm. Got there and was abused by the Chinese lady at the counter for being late. Apparently my appointment was for "before 5pm"-- did not understand her because of her accent. I thought I would wait any way but then she started talking to the other barber in Chinese and it seemed to be about me. So I thought it best to leave. I cannot imagine that with their attitude that their reviews are genuine. Look like all fake ratings. I would avoid this place.
My go-to haircut spot! Great quality haircuts, friendly staff, quick service, inexpensive, and they've always been available for a walk-in appointment every time I've went. No matter how wild I let my hair get, I know that the staff at Scissors will do an amazing job (P.S. I have super curly hair and they've always handled it really well!)
Best barbershop I have ever been to. I hardly ever have to wait--even when I don't make an appointment, price is truly reasonable, and cuts are super fast. Staff is friendly and professional. I live in Philly but go here for a haircut.
