Ruben has been cutting hair and serving his community for as long as I can remember. Going into his historic shop on 15th st is like a stroll back in time. I highly recommend this place to get any age haircuts

They were friendly as all cab be very welcoming to myself and my son . You know how getting your hair cut can be nerve racking. Very easy to talk to and informative..well they answered all my questions.. fyi ..im very inquisitive...lol... great price and my son's cut.......BUSSIN PHOTOS TO COME LATER

Been getting my haircut here for 7+ years. Home feeling, laid back environment, and sports always on TV. Talented barbers with experience. Ask for Steven or Ruben. Flawless, consistent cuts every time. Kids cuts and any hair type, highly recommend.

Under the current circumstance due to covid, there haven't been many places open. The vast majority I called didn't even pick up the phone. Despite Rueben saying he was actually essentially on his way out, he listened to me as I briefly explained my poor luck. His barber shop is located in West Sacramento, however I live in South Sac (20min away). He said he'd wait for me to get there. Honestly to me that's a great man right there. You dont see too much of that kind of stuff nowadays. And the haircut was excellent. Heads up to everyone though: CASH ONLY

I took my son here this morning for his first haircut. I was ignored by every single person working. I waited 10 minutes without any sort of acknowledgment since everybody was working on a client. At this point, another customer came in, was instantly greeted and was told that he would be next. At this point, I left and will never go back. I don't know if the treatment was because I'm a woman or because they didn't want to deal with my son but this is not the sort of behavior one should exhibit in a professional environment.

Ruben is a dope guy and a great barber. His shop has fun friendly neighborhood atmosphere. And his prices are great.

Rueben is a great barber. Traditional barbershop experience. Very reasonable prices. Great with children. He was awesome with my non verbal autistic nephew.

Love the Barber Shop. Go see Ruben and the boys for a great old school haircut and ask for a shave. Prices start @ $25.
