Delicious fish and chips with a spicy curry for me and a sweet curry for my partner.

Good portions, which is just what we needed after a day in Manchester.

While we were waiting for our food we had a lovely friendly chat with the staff.

The food tasted so good I forgot to take some photographs.

Being leigh born and bread but moved out of the area I decided to drive the 25 miles just to try Rowlies chippy after the reviews and I have to say they didn't disappoint, the best tasting chips I have had in years. Perfect gravy and the flat pudding was delicious, not dry and hard like in most other places I have tried, well worth the trip and will definitely be back for more

I got 2 large cod, sml salt and pepper chips with sml carton of spicy curry and omg beautiful fish. Will definately be back everything was cleared. thank you again

I live in Cheshire and finding a good, traditional "chippy" is very hard, but this is just the ticket. The owner is extremely kind and enthusiastic – and that is just the beginning.

The fish is exceptional. The cod is fresh, and the batter is light, not too heavy.

The chips are well seasoned and taste delightful.

I definitely will visit again – and thanks for setting the standard for a good fish and chip shop.

It's only taken 2 years of saying we will have to try here and tonight was the night. Well worth the wait. Delicious fish and chips. The chips were lovely and crunchy, the fish nicely battered and tasty. Great curry, peas and gravy also. All cooked to order. Excellent chippy, highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic food. First visit and we will be back. Lovely friendly staff, well priced and good portion sizes. Beautiful fresh fish and a meat filled pudding. 10 out of 10 from us :)

Recently moved to the area and I'm usually very fussy about chip shops. I needn't have worried though, everything I've tried from here has been top notch. All freshly made to order and cooked to perfection. Their chicken burgers will change your life and the staff are as friendly as they come. Easily the best chip shop in leigh. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A fantastic chippy. Really lovely chips and big portions. The batter on the fish was delicious and we got ketchup and forks for free!

Very friendly staff and would definitely recommend.
