I'm a huge fan of Portuguese cuisine and visiting RosAnto was an absolute treat. Authentic traditional style. We stopped over to celebrate my 40th and the staff really made a great effort to make it a good evening for all of us. I would certainly return.
Great restaurant, typical Portuguese food served in the best way. Very affordable price. Big servings. Fast serving. They keep enough distance between tables following covid restrictions and wearing masks.
Decoration may look old but it's worth going to have a meal.
Perfect for going with friends and family.

Came for dinner with other friends, we’ll come back again for sure! Owners and staff are really kind, they male you feel like home. Food is amazing, all the meat is very well cooked and the cod is really something! One of the best places I’ve been into Leicester!
It feels very authentic with the owners that are operating the place, using their own language and the feeling you get is very warm and cosy. The food.... It was okay, there is better quality out there, the fish cakes were scrumptious, the steak was a little over done for my liking I asked for medium rare and it came out medium and did see heavily tenderised. It was nice but I don't feel like I would go back there again.
My first time at RosAnto and certainly not the last. Was welcomed and seated to table by nice friendly smile by one of the owners. And served traditional Portuguese home made dishes by a nice women from the kitchen. Who made time to come out and welcome us.The atmosphere is Portuguese rustic and not loud. With the old guys chatting and drink and young couple dinning in the corner. All adds to the experience.
My true test of restaurant experience is to close your eyes when food is served and think where you are?. And closing my eyes here did transport me too Portugal with all the sounds, smells around me and taste of food.
Highly recommended if your a true foodie that wants more then the traditional nice looking plate in front of you.
Absolute gem in Leicester. Family run Portuguese restaurant. Great service, food and traditional authentic atmosphere. Definitely will return.
Authentic Portuguese cuisine, home made taste, friendly staff and large restaurant, it’s a bit hide as the restaurant isn’t located on the main road, but not difficult to find if you use google maps.
I’d definitely come back and I super recommend this Portuguese restaurant
