Loved this place. We don't get to eat out often and wanted something my wife, myself and our daughter would like so went here before our walk through the Christmas at Trentham lights. Lovely food, nicely cooked and a decent portion (my fish looked like an eel it was that long) Would definitely revisit and would recommend to anyone.
Ordered a cone of chips as i fancied some chippy chips, picture on the wall had proper chips on. Was served frozen chips out of a bag.
Excellent fish and chips really reasonable too. Coffee was fabulous too. Staff really friendly.. Couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended.
Would be better if the place served fresh chips, rather than tasteless prepackaged frozen, £3:50 for a few chips and beans,
I have eaten here on numerous occasions but my recent visit was very disappointing. The staff were very abrupt and not very pleasant. We ordered 2 meals at the same time but only 1 arrived and after a good 30 minutes asked where the other meal was and got no explanation. It was obvious it had been forgotten. It was not like they were busy as there was only us in at the time. We received no apology or even a gesture of another drink as good will. Disposable trays, cutlery and cups which were not very pleasant.
Been today & had the worst coffee I think that I've ever had.
Ordered a Latte for £2.99, when I received it, there was about 1 mouthful of coffee in the mug & the rest was froth. It was taken back & they filled it a little fuller, wasn't the warmest of coffees I've ever had.
As others have said. Not chip shop chips they have advertised on the boards outside. Look like frozen oven chips to me. Sausage was fine.
Worst fish and chips in the country. The service was a shambles. The fish was poor quality like a frozen fillet. Chips were not chippy style, more like frozen oven chips, and one meal was served 5 mins before the other, and virtually tossed onto the table by a very miserable mber of staff
