Great local pub, good live music and friendly team.
Great little pub. Selection of beers, Draft ale, Cider and lager. Cosy environment. Sports shown and a little park onsite for the kids to run riot in. Dog friendly. The Landlady Lucy and her staff are always happy and smily. Facebook page is always updated keeping you up to date with what's going on. Music every Friday- A great all rounder ????
Not my Google ID, but I’m commenting as one of the 3 grateful guys on Tuesday evening. One of which was to be married in the morning. The land lady and other half made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us; making us sandwiches despite not serving food, and not scolding me for knocking over a drink!! Not to mention the shots as a wedding gift! We highly recommend this pub, and will return! Thanks guys!
For a Jubilee event,it was a very pleasant way to spend a Friday afternoon. The pub is well renowned for its outdoor events and hospitality.lnside or out in the spacious car park everything was well appointed.Great bar staff, reasonable prices and the very good Angie McCoy doing a blistering set of appropriate songs for the auspicious event. One black mark that no-one can adequately prepare for was the weather.Thankfully, right at the very end of the music the heavens opened to remind us all there is something greater than even our great Queen.
Like attending a chimps tea party yesterday afternoon ,and the language being used by the DJ was appalling! Our kids really don’t need to know those words just yet! And Drink Drivers seem to be rife here! Shame used to be a good pub.... back to the Globe in frampton.
Nice pub. Log stove. Pool table. TV shows football. Unfortunately they don't sell coffee, which is a nuisance if you're driving. They do sell chocolate bars though!
The staff are really helpful and efficient. Unfortunately the last meal i had was paella and it was overcooked. The king prawn on top had seen better days and it shouldnt have been served.otherwise had some good meals.
Friendly staff, great entertainment and lively atmosphere. Really enjoyed the evening.

Quick Facts About Ring O Bells

Ring O Bells Place has several strengths that make it a popular local pub. Firstly, it is praised for its good live music. Customers appreciate the opportunity to enjoy great music while socializing and having a drink. The fact that there is music every Friday indicates a commitment to providing entertainment to patrons on a regular basis. This sets the pub apart from others in the area that may only have live music occasionally or not at all.
Another strength of Ring O Bells Place is its friendly team. Customers mention the landlady, Lucy, and her staff as being welcoming and always happy. This positive and friendly atmosphere creates a welcoming environment for regulars as well as first-time visitors. The staff's efficiency and helpfulness are also highlighted as positive aspects of the pub.
The selection of beers, draft ale, cider, and lager is also mentioned as a strength. This variety allows customers to choose their preferred drink and ensures that there is something for everyone. This is important in attracting a diverse customer base and ensuring that everyone feels catered to. Additionally, the reasonable prices are mentioned as a positive aspect, indicating that the pub offers good value for money.
The cozy environment of Ring O Bells Place is also appreciated by customers. The presence of a log stove adds to the cozy ambiance, making it a comfortable place to relax and socialize. The pool table and TV showing football matches also add to the pub's appeal, providing additional entertainment options for customers.
The fact that Ring O Bells Place is dog-friendly and has a little park onsite for children to play in is another strength. This makes it a family-friendly pub and allows customers to bring their pets or children along, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
The pub's active Facebook page is also mentioned as a positive aspect. Regular updates on the page keep customers informed about upcoming events and specials. This shows a commitment to communication and customer engagement, ensuring that patrons are kept informed and involved.
However, despite these strengths, there are some weaknesses that have been mentioned by customers. One customer mentioned that the language used by the DJ during an event was appalling and not suitable for children. This indicates a lack of attention to appropriate language and may deter families from visiting the pub in the future.
Another customer mentioned that they had a negative experience with their meal, with the paella being overcooked and the king prawn not being fresh. This indicates inconsistent quality control when it comes to food preparation. While other customers mentioned having good meals at the pub, this negative experience shows a need for improvement in the kitchen.
Furthermore, another customer mentioned that the pub does not sell coffee, which is inconvenient for those who are driving. While this may not be a major issue for everyone, it does limit the options available to customers who may prefer to have a hot beverage instead of an alcoholic one.
Lastly, a customer mentioned that there seemed to be a problem with drink drivers in the area. This raises concerns about the safety of patrons and indicates a potential lack of attention to responsible alcohol service. This may deter some customers from visiting the pub due to concerns about their safety.
In conclusion, Ring O Bells Place has several strengths that make it a popular local pub, including the good live music, friendly team, variety of drinks, cozy environment, dog-friendliness, and active social media presence. However, there are also weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as inappropriate language during events, inconsistent food quality, lack of coffee options, and concerns about drink driving. By addressing these weaknesses, the pub can further improve its overall experience for customers.
