Got there about 7.45 on a Friday night. They told me there was a 40min wait on food - it was good they told me.
As I was anticipating a long wait, I asked for the TV to be put on, but they told me it wasn't working ????.
Thankfully order was done quicker than they said. Got it home and discovered where I'd asked for chicken curry I'd got chicken chow mein. Bit disappointed but couldn't face going back at end of long and tiring day.
Firstly, I was told delivery would be 1 hour. I waited over two hours. The sweet and sour chicken was just ‘soft’ fried chicken with some sauce thrown over the top. The prawns in the king prawn fried rice still had their veins in it so they were not edible. The beef in the chow mien was basically white and lacked flavour. I gave one star for the wings.
Absolutely appalling. Placed an order at 6.55, was told it would be 45 mins - 1 hour for delivery.
Two hours later, still not arrived. Called the shop twice to be told it’s with the driver. Still didn’t come.
At 9.20 I cancelled the order. Why not say it will be two hours? Could have ordered elsewhere. Will never use again. .
In addition, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and unhelpful! Avoid at all costs.
Ordered food from here a few times now. Every time it has been totally delicious, not a single complaint. Delivery times have been very reliable also. It is far the best chinese in the local area
Food was really bad
Couldn't eat the curry sauce or the mushroom in oyster sauce. Plain chow mein was ok as we're the prawn balls but the sweet and sour sauce tasted like watered down strawberries and thickened up with cornflour???
Also the pork Cantonese style wasn't great either and the prawn crackers some were burnt. Total wast of money won't go there again...it used to be really lovely it's a shame

So I did for the first time, it will also be the last time! Order took an hour and half , I tried to contact them it was impossible , got through once out of the 70 odd times I tried to call they put me on hold then cut me off, I then inconveniently drove there to see where My order was , which defeats the purpose of a delivery! They were not much help
Eventually it came , and yeah as I guessed would happen was not worth the money at all , was ok food but not the best Chinese food corringham and grays were better! Anyway like I said won't order again , very poor lack of communication with customers and the worst delivery service I've ever had !!

Unacceptable waiting time. No sorry, or help from the person that answers the phone, who talks to you like you are wrong to ask where your food is after an hour. ...very rude! They must have lost many customers cos of her! My family will never use again. Be honest & polite to your customers if yo want them to return
