Great place, delicious and value for money breakfast/brunch, large portions and plenty of choice. Unpretentiously simple and local. Coffee is ok. Lovely location, bonus if the weather is nice and you can grab a table outside, lovely and quiet road.

Fabulous cafe with a lot of character , lots of choice on the menu, very reasonable prices, great customer service and a great location!

only stopped for a coffee. dirty and chipped coffee cups, awful americano, really puzzled by the positive reviews, bah.

I like the food here, it's inexpensive and the staff are generally friendly. Today I sat inside for lunch at 1.50 and 20 minutes later no-one had taken my order. In fact, the whole time I was inside not a single order was taken. I went over to the counter and the waiter said, "I'll be with you in 2 seconds" then went on to serve 3 takeaway customers who had just walked through the door. I just left hungry. The staff today were completely stressed out and running around really inefficiently; manky tables piled high with used dishes. I think they need 3 people for the lunch service, it's too much for a single waiter to serve all of the tables that they have, help the chef and be the barista too. They'd make a lot more money if they cleared the tables quickly.

I'll go back but maybe choose to avoid lunchtime. Personally I hate sitting around waiting for an order to be taken.
