I have gotten three gel manicures and a gel pedicure here this year after changing salons because I moved. Compared to the many I’ve tried in DC, red sun nails offers good quality and service at a very reasonable price for being in downtown DC. Very nice employees, solid color selection, and my absolute must - the gel lasts for 2-3 weeks with minimal chips, lifting, or breaking. They take their time, apply multiple coats and let them cure, and do a good job shaping. Would recommend.

I came in with a picture reference of what I wanted and they replicated it perfectly. I got the dip powder and the design was gel. The total came out to $60 and she even added a little design and asked me if I liked it. I'll definitely be back

Came in as a manicure walk in the day after Christmas. Nail technician Van took great care of my nails with special detail to all of their work. I left feeling confident and amazed with their work. Thank you ????

I landed and hours later my nails chip right before an event. I walked in to get the current polish soaked off and a manicure & Kim gave such a great gel manicure. A bit of a wait but worth it as a walk-in and for quality work. Will come back here if I'm back in town.

Great friendly atmosphere and awesome customer service. I got a pedicure and THU did a wonderful job in taking care of my pedicure. Very clean work place and I like the way they are protective in assuring that only customers use the restroom in the work place. That alleviate traffic in and out the business, especially during Covid. I will definitely be back again.

Return customer: I went back again to the same nail professional THU and received great service once again. She even remembered me as we continue to talk. She did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and pedicure. I always leave the salon with happy smooth soft feet. She always gives the best service with affordable price. On Sunday sept 18th the lady who did my eyebrows keep telling me she sorry but I thought she was just saying it cause she was a lil rough so on Monday sept 19th I woke up with scars on my eyebrows I guess she burn me with whatever she use… she didn’t even tell me she burnt me I just woke up with burn marks under my eyes

I was a regular client. I never complain and I'm not picky. But they made me a horrible gel pedicure (scratched the skin around my toes and messed up the gel on my big toe so they brushed it with some alcohol or acetone and did not replace it. I thought it would be ok (they applied some sheer nail polish on top) but it turned opaque and i went back for a fix. The gel on my hands also chipped after only 5 days. When I returned they didn't want to help me and lied saying my gel was bicolor while it wasnt since it was the same of the other foot and hands! They treated me like a stupid person. I was calm but then firm in my requests and then they told me I would need to wait for 2 hours to get a fix! All this for a mistake of theirs. And I was a regular client. Horrible experience.
