Quick Facts About Plymstock Fish Bar Ltd

Plymstock Fish Bar Ltd has a number of strengths that make it an attractive place for customers:
1. Friendly and efficient service: Many customers commented on the friendly and helpful staff at Plymstock Fish Bar. The two girls serving knew which orders belonged to each customer, and they provided service with a smile. This creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
2. Good quality and generous portions: The food at Plymstock Fish Bar is praised for its good quality and generous portions. Customers mentioned that the fish was flaky and tasty, and the chips were well-salted and vinegared. The menu also offers a variety of options such as burgers, sausages, chicken, pies, and cold drinks.
3. Affordable prices: Despite some comments about prices going up, customers generally find the prices at Plymstock Fish Bar to be reasonable. This makes it accessible to a wide range of customers.
4. Popular among locals: Many customers mentioned that they have been going to Plymstock Fish Bar for years, indicating that it has a strong base of regular customers. This suggests that the food and service are consistently good and that the business has built a loyal customer base.
However, there are also some weaknesses that Plymstock Fish Bar needs to address:
1. Long waiting times: Several customers expressed frustration about long waiting times at Plymstock Fish Bar. Some mentioned that they had to wait outside in the cold to place their order and then wait again for their food. This can be off-putting for customers, especially if there are other fish and chips shops in the area with shorter waiting times.
2. Inconsistent food quality: While many customers praised the quality of the food at Plymstock Fish Bar, there were also some negative comments about poorly cooked food and excessive oiliness. Inconsistent food quality can lead to dissatisfaction among customers and impact their likelihood of returning in the future.
3. Pricing changes: Some customers mentioned that prices at Plymstock Fish Bar have increased since the reopening. While price increases are understandable, customers also noticed that the portion sizes have decreased. This can give the impression of poor value for money and may lead customers to seek alternative options.
4. Limited space and cramped atmosphere: One customer mentioned that the shop can feel cramped, which can be uncomfortable for customers, especially during peak times when the shop is busy. A cramped atmosphere can take away from the overall dining experience and discourage customers from returning.
In conclusion, Plymstock Fish Bar Ltd has several strengths, including friendly service, good quality food with generous portions, and reasonable prices. However, they need to address some weaknesses, such as long waiting times, inconsistent food quality, pricing changes, and the cramped atmosphere. By addressing these issues, Plymstock Fish Bar can improve the overall customer experience and maintain a strong customer base in the long term.

Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Not a nice experience. Wait in queue out in the cold, place order and wait back out in the cold. Paid £14.80 for two fish & chips. The batter was very greasy and the chip portion was too small for the price. Been going there for years but that's the last time they get my money.
Good stuff. A little cramped but the two girls serving knew who was in which order. Food was cooked to order and service was given with a smile. It was cold outside and so all customers (and there was a shopful) kept themselves to themselves, although staff happily chatted with those who appeared to be regulars.
Food was still hot 25 minutes later. Fish batter crispy and the chips were beautifully salted and vinegared. We had some mushy peas to add as a side and these were soft and nicely prepared.
Generous amount of everything. Menu included the usual, burgers, sausages chicken, pies etc with a good selection of cold drinks.

... waiting time was too long ,people how order after me , 5 of them, received the food before me . You should ask how much will take your order, I didn't and I paid the price.
The food was not cooked well , to much potatoes, and very oiled.
Shame that I’ve given a 2 star.
Since the reopening prices have gone up which maybe I understand, but chips have got a lot thinner and full of grease and fish has got smaller.
Nyum yum. Sometimes the que is long, apart from that it's lovely food.
Very nice fish and chips shop in Plymstock. Quality is great so you expect to wait for your order. It is always busy.
