Good work but they rush! Everything is rushed. The owner I think her name is Karen flat out told me I talk to much because I asked why I was offered no drink during my pedicure. I was highly offended. I just make sure I bring my own drink! My cup my businesses and I stopped tipping.
Tipping is a courtesy not a requirement the work is good I admit but pay attention on how they rush on you. You can’t even think when this is supposed to be a relaxing luxurious experience.
This was my second time using them. The first time was for a soak off so i decided to let them do me a full set French mani. I showed the pic of what I wanted and she was like ok an overlay with a little tip. But a guy started to work on my nails and as soon as he began to apply the tips I felt like they were going to be messed up. Every nail was filed to the left and some were too little for my nail bed. When I mentioned it to the manager he got upset. I will never go back. My nail beds are burning as I'm typing this!
This was my first time coming to this place and I don't think I will be back. I walked in and let someone know I wanted a full set and pedicure. They sit people in stations as soon as they walk in so they sat me in a pedicure chair , I came in at 10:15am they did not come to see me until 11am. They have only two people doing nails and two people doing feet. My pedicure looked like I did them at home but the women who did my feet was sweet. I was shocked at how ruff and in a rush my nail teach was. She was going so fast it felt anything but a nail spa. As I was coming to the end of getting my nails done a women near me was getting into a bit of a disagreement with her nail teach. My nail teach started in on the foolishness and makes they women even more mad. It was extremely awkward for me for her to be yelling with another customer and doing my nails. She keep talking to the women even when the women stopped talking and fighting with her it was like my nail teach wanted to fight. She never said sorry to me about yelling with her while servicing me. My nail tech got up and just left me sitting there I had to ask her am I done she then said "did you lo four rounds of the UV light?" I had no idea I needed to because she did not tell me.So I sat down and did the last few rounds of UV lighting I then had to go and ask her "Should I do and wash my hands?" she looks at me and saids yes as if i'm bothering her. I went and washed my hands got my things to pay she never said thank you or bye. Another women checked me out. I was also shocked at the price 80 dollars for this poor service. I did not tip because they did not deserve it. As I walked out I could tell she was complaining about that. I love to tip but i've never been to a nail "Spa" this sorry. I don't recomind this place at all.
Be prepared to wait. The wait time here is getting longer and longer. Only two nail techs and 3 people doing pedicures. That's fine in a less busier shop but this shop is always packed. They do good work. I have been going here since they opened years ago, but sadly I have to find somewhere else. I was there 4 hours this visit up from 3 hours the last time. They initially had a full staff and a receptionist. Over the years people have left and aren't being replaced. You would think with the amount of customers that they have they would have more staff. If not for spending hours and hours at the nail salon I would have given them 5 stars.
This is the worst place to do business PERIOD they're soooo unorganized. I walked in to get a file and buff and polish change I'm a black woman a White woman walked in behind me to get a fill in . I was sitted in # 4 this lady was still waiting up front I sat there for 15mns ito turn around to see they had started on her nails before mine I will not tolerate this type of nonsense when we take our money and business else where they will take our presence seriously ..
I’ve been going for over a year. But between wait times getting super long to me just recently going inside and not getting greeted or acknowledged or asked about what service I want…and to make it worse, 2 more people come in and they’re greeted, asked about the service they want and told where to sit..pretty much letting others get in front of me…Gotta do better! Smh
All the bad reviews are true but there is one thing that's not being talked about. I have a cosmetologist license and have for 15 years and this shop to be as busy as they are is one of the most Nasty salons I've ever been in. I have been to this salon before when it first opened and it was so not like this . I use to go to Sam in fultondale and these ppl came from his shop and his shop is always beautiful and clean if the board walked in today they would be in big trouble... I brought my 3 yo. And I didn't want her touching the counters ...we just left I won't be back
DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If you want to spend all day at the nail salon for just acrylic nails then feel free to come to this place. Got here at 9:30 and got called up at 10:00. By 12:00 they still hadn’t started my nails, but two people that showed up after me started and finished before I even started. You don’t even get the color you ask for!!! I overheard multiple people, including myself, complain about not getting the color they asked for! Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS!!!!
