Our local fish en chip shop and tonight it was spot on with generous portions of chips with cod also perfect curry sauce. Crispy cod and nicely cooked chips, absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Top tip, ring your order in and just collect at the window for fast pickup.

Popped into the Friar while I was in town, the great reviews were not misleading.

The food was a good price, and tasted excellent.

The staff were polite and friendly.

Food was provided within a timely manner.

My only problem is that they don't take card, only cash. This may become an issue for first timers such as myself since the nearest cash machine isn't very close. Card payments would be more convenient and time-saving.

Other than that though, a very nice place for some chippy lunch of dinner in Pinchbeck!

Great value and great tasting fish and chips. Loved the mini fish and chips for great value so no need to buy a 'normal sized' one.

I've been living in Pinchbeck since moving back from Ibiza 10yrs ago and I have been munching fish n chips from the Friar since that day and although there are other chipy shops around in my opinion none of them are a patch on the Friar. Good food at a fair price and it's yummy.
