Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Such a nice place. I love the curried goat. Great Jerk chicken and their rice and peas are on point. I've had it in their shop and to take away. Both were delicious!
I've had some bad Caribbean food outside of London but this place is great. Recommend!
Very welcoming owner, lovely food. Not had jerk chicken or lamb patties in over 10 years. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had 3 plates, cost just under £30 which is reasonable but we weren't full by any means. So for a tasty bite maybe a bit expensive for some but we certainly enjoyed it.
Great little gem run by nice people, the kind of local establishment with great food you want to see at your doorstep.
We tried the veg ting box / Jamaican vegan curry and vegan stew and it was mighty delicious! Full of flavour it takes you back to Jamaica in an instant. Loved the side bits too, the plantains, the sweet deep fried dough ball, the pattie. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes.
Such nice food and people, definitely on my list of places to go while in the area.
What an explosion of flavour! I visited for my first time the other day and sampled the box that included the goat curry, jerk chicken, dumplings, mac and cheese, pasties, veg, and rice and beans.
The photo shows a potion for 2 and it was more than enough. Expertly cooked food packed full of Jamaican flavours.
Will definitely be considering going back soon or ordering a takeaway.
Absolutely amazing service, this was a last minute order and they pulled it out the bag for a birthday! The food was delicious. I can not thank them enough 5* is not enough I give them way more on quality, timing and efforts. Thank you so much
Stopped for an impromptu lunch the other day and sat in the garden in the sunshine. Food was lovely, my wife had a chicken jerk wrap and I had a lamb pattie. The seasoned fries were very tasty. Owners were really friendly.
Very very disappointed - never again! We decided to try after reading many positive reviews.
We decided to go directly to the restaurant as justeat charge for a total of 4£ (delivery and service charge) and then they charged us more telling us "we didn't have time to update our menu but the prices are increased". This is actually illegal! You can't charge more if your menu still displaying the old prices! At the end we have paid as the total in justeat!
Then we have paid 11£ for one piece of chicken - the box was basically full of rice. We paid also the same for few pieces of curry beef and again a lot of rice. 11£ for rice basically!
Never again - too overpriced and poor quantity! how people can accept this and write positive reviews?!?
Really enjoyed my food, had the jerk chicken wrap. Great menu options and very flavoursome and well seasoned. Proper chicken, friendly staff and a lovely outdoor are at the back where I was able to enjoy the sun. Has a great feel to the place. Would highly recommend!
Can now order and eat in the Ship Aground too!

Quick Facts About Patties and Ting

Patties and Ting Place receives mostly positive comments, indicating some strengths, but there are also a few negative comments that point out weaknesses. This analysis will consider the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, multiple comments highlight the delicious food at Patties and Ting Place. The curried goat, jerk chicken, rice and peas, lamb patties, and Jamaican vegan curry all receive praise for their great taste and flavorful nature. Customers appreciate the explosion of flavors in the food, mentioning how it takes them back to Jamaica. Positive comments also mention the side dishes, such as plantains and sweet deep-fried dough balls, which enhance the overall dining experience. The menu options are described as great, with a wide variety of choices available.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the welcoming and friendly nature of the owners and staff. Customers describe the service as amazing and highlight the efforts made by the restaurant to meet their needs, such as accommodating last-minute orders and providing quality and timely service. The friendly attitude of the owners is also mentioned as a positive aspect of the restaurant.
The ambiance of the restaurant is also seen as a strength. Customers enjoy sitting in the garden area, especially when the weather is nice, and appreciate the great feel of the place. The outdoor seating allows customers to enjoy their meals while soaking up the sun.
Now moving on to the weaknesses, one recurring complaint is the pricing of the food. While some customers find the prices reasonable, others mention that the portions are not filling, especially considering the price paid. This indicates that Patties and Ting Place might be considered expensive for some customers, even though they enjoy the taste of the food. One customer specifically mentions feeling disappointed with the quantity of food received compared to the price paid, highlighting that they paid £11 for a small portion of chicken and rice.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the inconsistency in pricing and charges. One customer expresses frustration regarding an increase in prices not reflected on the menu and additional charges for ordering through a delivery platform. This inconsistency in pricing is seen as a negative aspect and can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, Patties and Ting Place has several strengths, including delicious food with an explosion of flavors, friendly and accommodating service, and a pleasant ambiance. However, some weaknesses include potentially high prices for the amount of food received and inconsistencies in pricing and charges. Overall, the strengths of the restaurant seem to outweigh the weaknesses, as customers express a desire to return and recommend the place to others. (word count: 500)
