The actual best chips I've ever had at a chippy! Tried and tested over 10 times, hands down the best chips!

The price is unbearably low. Please raise your prices and know your worth. I visit family here and come from the South where prices are higher, but your prices are so low that I feel like I'm cheating you. Your food is worth a lot more in quality. A bag of amazing chips fed four adults, and we do it all the time.

The shop keeps up with the local friendly vibe and I just want to move next door to buy more food more often. Thanks guys, really appreciate the great chips.

You need to try the chips ????

Good food, decent service and at a fair price. Would've been a higher rating but a couple of things let them down.

The only things they get marked down on are;

Prawn toast - Ridiculously greasy, too much "toast" not enough "prawn". Tasted like fried bread with sesame seeds.

Packaging - putting BBQ ribs in a polystyrene container and wrapping it in paper wasn't the greatest idea... Should really be in a sealable container. Got home to BBQ sauce EVERYWHERE.

Special fried rice - MASSIVE serving but would've been happier with a smaller serving with more meat/seafood. Maybe some sauce on the side?

Overall it was tasty, hot, well priced and we'll definitely order again.

Huge white fish, chips are perfectly cooked not mushy like a lot of places.

Enormous portions. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Food was good and tasty the salt and pepper ribs could do with some improvements, Also I think the staff should be a little bit more courteous to the customers when they asked for a empty container don’t ask them for £.50 when they’ve spent near enough £50 on a takeaway very greedy staff

The food is good and plentiful and we were stuffed to the gills for about £8 per head

Went here first time yesterday the fish was gorgeous the batter was crunchy, best fish I have had in a very long time the curry sauce was best I've had as well maybe even ever from a chippy, chips were lovely too. Only hitch is a bit expensive so deducted a star, saying that good quality. Will definitely be going again.

Called on for a chippy tea and was glad we did.

The fish was a generous portion, covered in a light crispy, non greasy batter and one portion of chips was enough for the two of us.

Very reasonable prices ( would've cost at least £4 more at our local chippy) wish you were a bit nearer home ???? 22/04/22

Came here on Friday night. My first experience using that chippy. It was like a comedy inside which to me was hilarious. A lady came in because her order was incorrect, then this threw them off a bit with other peoples orders and there was a queue of people waiting outside to collect their food.

I sat patiently waiting as one guy came into the shop and demanded a refund as he had been waiting for so long. I completely understand that these guys work hard and are the only chippy around for miles so I am giving them five stars because they deserve it. People need to calm down and take a minute to realise they are doing the best they can. If you have to wait, be patient.

My food came and me and my wife enjoyed it very much. Salt and pepper chicken pieces, chips, rice and noodles, there was loads of food. It tasted amazing! Keep up the good work guys!
