Today was very FRUSTRATING for me, My appointment was for 10am. After 40 min I
Was informed someone be ready for me shortly . I could kick myself for not getting up and leaving at that point, but I decided to give it a few more minutes. After two hours of waiting I decided to leave. Let me just say, I know that the salon does really good work HOWEVER, to the owner, please VALUE the time of your customers. Having customers wait even 30 minutes is much too long when appointments has be made. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I Will never visit the salon again.
This is my first time getting my hair braided at this salon and I’m in love with the way my hair turned out. Everyone is so nice and my braids look great. I will be returning back again!
First time getting braids, love my experience. The new location is beautiful, clean, organized and the staff was very friendly and family like. I would recommend to others.They plan to have a nail tech, and lash services soon. Will definitely be back for 1 stop shop all in 1 location.
Oumy is a nice salon but could use some more professionals working there. For starters I called and was told to come in immediately to be fit in for a braid appointment on a Saturday. I get there and had to wait over an hour. Ok no big deal. I get in the chair and the braider starts talking about a different price than what was mentioned on the phone. Once I tell her the phone convo and my agreed price she sits me another braiders chair. This lady was kind and did a great job bttt she insisted on combing out my loc saying”it no look good with braids”. Now that’s what took me out. Fast forward a month later and I take the braids out only to realize that they broke my edges off. I will not be returning to Oumy.
Appointment at 1pm got there and she started right on my head. She finished in less then 2hr. Will be going back there for my up hair do every month. Love the work they do.
Took my niece today to get braids and extensions for her 9th birthday. She was so excited and Oumy did not disappoint.
They treated us all great why we were there. They hand hands of angels making my niece feel as special and as bueatiful as see is.
On top of it all, they explained everything they were doing to her mom, gave suggestion on how to treat her hair. It was just not a few hours of service for a lifetime customer experience.
Thanks to all who hoped us today. Made us all feel special.

I will never return to this place to get my hair braided. I didn’t come here to be insulted or be a joke. The little purple girl in there that was working there was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She talked about my hair, she talked about my eyebrows. I felt very disrespected. I could had went down to her level but I didn’t. I will not ever return there after only 2-3 days my braids came out around my edges from the braids being too tight. I will never come to get my hair braided here ever again.
OMG l had a really bad experience with this place. I went inside to make a reservation and Ms. Red gave me an appointment for the next day at 11:00 a.m.. I was on time and was told that she was coming so I sat down. Waited for an hour and 30 mins before I decided to leave. Bad customer service and I will not be going there again.
