I love fish and chips. Whenever I’m away on staycations, visiting family, or even abroad.. I find the fish and chip shop. With this comes so much fussiness.. I am borderline OCD when it comes to chips. Good fish and chip ‘chips’ are crunchy to look at, but fluffy to bite. Not soggy, and a perfect blend of salt and vinegar.
This fish and chip shop is the best fish and chip shop, of all fish and chip shops! Not only are the chips so good, the portion sizes are perfect. The prices are fair and the efficiency at the place amazes me, They have never got an order wrong and I’ve rarely had to wait longer than 10 mins. Is there a bit of a wait on a Friday night? Of course, this is the best fish and chip shop on the planet, it’s going to be a bit busy at the weekend.
They are consistently good. You know if you go to any McDonalds, you get the same level of standard every time you go? No matter what day, what time or who’s working. I know if I go get some chips from oh my cod, they will be absolutely astounding.

They smash it and set the gold standard for what I look for in fish & chips.

Tucked away on the backside of Aldershot is not where you would expect to find the Worlds best fish 'n' chip takeaway. The food is always fabulous, freshly cooked to order. It is very good quality and value for money. Leo and the staff give great customer service.
Best fish and chip shop around for miles. Huge selection of fish, very sustainable. Oil is locally sourced as are the potato's.
Doesn't have a card machine but there is a machine to withdraw money from in the news agents next door. Actually getting some tonight
Fabulous experience of take away cod fish Friday night. It was delicious. Staff was very helpful. They all doing brilliant Job. Keep up with the good work.
Ordered two haddock and chips, one cod and chips and curry sauce.
Only had chips with the cod so called to complain. I was told haddock doesn’t come with chips and the portion of chips with the cod is for sharing ???????? Poor, very Poor.
I was in UK for a vacation. Enjoyed the delicious fish and chips here. Staff named Mathew was very nice. He gave a warm welcome and suggested variety of dishes offered by the restaurant . He was very prompt and friendly. Appreciate his service and hard work .
Fish & Chips we’re great, it’s was made fast and the staff were police as well as the shop model and clean.
However they did not except card and gave the fish and Chips in a plastic bag, rather than a 100% biodegradable bag. Come on “Oh My Cod” this is 2022, be more sustainable!
Thoroughly enjoyed the fish, plenty of tasty fish in lovely light batter and the chips are proper chip shop chips. My mum and dad visited and said that the best fish and chips they have had in a very long time.
