Our family vacationed here for years, and it was my husband's very favorite place on Earth. He passed away last year without getting to visit here again. I have plans to return with my children who are grown now. This Motel is just like staying with family! The rooms are huge and have everything you could possibly want. It literally is like staying with family!

Just have to say this. We stayed here yearly in the 60’s with my parents and siblings. I am glad to see it is still there. Many fond memories. I will have to make it by there now I know it is still there.

Comfortable and homey feeling. Sit in front of your room and watch the sun come up! New managers are updating the rooms. Stayed in one updated, one not. No complaints about either. Both were clean and well-cared for, no evidence of bugs that an older review mentioned. The view is calming and there is a dedicated walkway for beach access. This isn't a very busy stretch of beach, so it didn't feel crowded. Also, there isn't so much light from the huge buildings, so you can see soooo many stars on a clear night! John and Lisa are great! For the location and the price, this is a good choice.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location on Ormond Beach. This is an older motel and has not been updated, BUT it is clean. Good deal for the money. Comfortable bed. Room had a fridge and micro, but no coffee maker, no hair dryer, shampoo, etc. Bring your own. Some rooms do have kitchenettes. Owner very nice.

e have been customers since the mid-80's and have always loved this place. It's an older motel but it's located just across A1A right on the beach. The rooms are "dollar store chic" but have always been clean and the place was well maintained. Gordon Ostrowsky owned the place for most of this time and during that time the place was great.

Apparently, the place was sold and we stayed in July of 2018 and were not pleased as the maintenance was already flagging and the cleaning staff were living in a room. It was just creepy. However, after writing a review describing this situation, the new owner replied and has assured us that the situation has changed. We intend to check out the place again and are hoping that it is back to to good old Ocean Crest that we know and love. I will update my review after my next stay but will go ahead and leave it as 5 because that is how I previously felt about the place.

If your looking for new it's not for you but it's a great place to stay. The rooms are clean with a great view. Gordon, the owner, is a great guy and goes out of his way to make your stay wonderful. My wife and myself love this Mom and Pop Motel. We have stayed here for several years in June.

Love this motel! John and Lisa (managers) are incredible. The rooms are very clean, good wifi, comfortable beds, and if you need anything they do the very best they can to accommodate you. I can open my room door and see and hear the ocean that is just across the A1A. Their prices are great!

Very Clean, and wonderful owners! I love the Ocean Crest, and will come back every year. The beach is beautiful and no traffic! I would recommend this motel to anyone. It is also great to park at your door. The ground are very neat and well kept.

Can't wait to go back :)
