Best fish and chips, the chinese food there is also very good, I don't go anywhere else now.
Last minute option for dinner. However it was overpriced compared to portion and quality, charged 10p for a bag. All other Chinese I have been to have always gave a free bag of prawn crackers-not here! Would not recommend.
I haven’t been here for a while but sorry to say NEVER AGAIN had pork chow mein this evening and it was tasteless and didn’t taste good and my partner had chicken balls and she and my son said they was horrible to the point they went into the bin I persevered with my chow mein because of the cost of it but I didn’t feel good after eating it ☹️ so sorry guys but please make an effort to get it back to a good Chippy again so until we see more positive reviews we definitely won’t be back ☹️
Disappointed with the roasted duck meat really it shouldn’t be made this way-what I was expecting and what I got really was disappointed with the mash duck meat and the service was bad it’s an insult for Chinese roasted duck it looks like mash roasted duck to me at least since I fancy Chinese food and roasted duck but it looks I will never buy from this shop again and suggest not buy from this shop as well!!!even the price for this not even worth it highly regretful it’s not roasted it’s deep fried ones !!!it’s completely rubbish and worst roasted duck I have ever eaten in my entire life ....

Great Cod n Chips here, Staff are nice as well. I think its cash only for below £10 though(?)
Really nice fish n chips and at a reasonable price too. £3.50 for a decent size piece of battered cod. No car park outside. If driving you would have to park your car on the road outside. No sit down area so take away only. Would definitely come back here if I’m ever in Basingstoke!
Not the tastiest chips that I have had. But they fill a hole. I get savaloy sausages at chippies. And they have normally been soaked in briney water to heat them and make them tender. Not here, so didn't taste quite right luke warm out of a microwave
