Mai is the BEST and my nails always look amazing!! Consistent and perfect every time. Mai and Steven always make my visit so pleasant and Danny gives the best pedicures and it really is a treat to be their customer. I’ve tried a few places when I first moved here seven years ago and none compare to NV Nails. Took me six months to find them and I’ve been a customer ever since. 6 1/2years strong.

Best nail salon in Western NC! I’ve been coming to this salon for over 5 years. After my second visit I was greeted by name which speaks volumes of the customer service. I’ve never had a bad experience! I’m always getting compliments on how well my nails look and I go once a month. This place is luxurious and well maintained. Shout out to my nail tech who not only keeps my nails looking good but also my eyebrows as well. How often do you fall asleep in the pedicure chair?!?! I do all the that! That’s how relaxing and welcoming the environment is.

Let me start off my saying this was the most traumatic nail experience I have EVER experienced. I went there yesterday to have my acrylics removed because I wanted them professionally removed. She started off by cutting them with nail clippers, which was fine. Then she got one of the acrylic nails out of her drawer and started shoving it under the nail and trying to separate it from my actual nail. She was jamming it so hard and never in my life have I been to a nail salon that removed acrylics like that! It was extremely painful and I told her that, but she just kept saying “I don’t want to hurt you” and kept jamming the acrylic nail under my nail. It was the most EXCRUCIATING pain ever and it feels like my real nail was ripped off one by one. Don’t come here for your acrylic nails to be removed unless you want a torture experience! Me being the quiet and shy person I am, I don’t like to complain but I asked if she could soak them in acetone or SOMETHING and she refused. I told her I could just remove the rest at home since she was struggling to remove some of them. She even detached part of my nail, which left me bleeding and now I have to wear multiple bandaids on my fingers and they are the thinnest and smallest nails I have ever had! Keep in mind, my nails were pretty long before this and by her ripping them off, it made them so short that it physically hurts to the touch. I was visibly sweating and shaking from the pain and my whole body ended up drenched. She made me pay $11 for that and I immediately walked out and cried in my car. Worst experience by far and I am upset because I used to love this place. Unfortunately I will NEVER be coming back and I will no longer recommend this place to anyone I know,

Tim is great I asked for a full set of purple nails with silver tips. I got exactly what I asked for and he took the time to make sure my hands looked very pretty. I also got a pedicure, Tim did not do it, but it was great as well. I highly recommend NV Nails. The picture is a week after I had my nails done.

We went here for mani/pedi’s everyone was nice but it is way over priced for the service I received. Missed parts of my nails on both hands, had to switch stylists and felt bad so I tipped all 3 people that did our nails. Spend $193 for something I’m not happy with

Just bad. Used regular polish when I asked for gel on my pedicure. I could have done a better job at home. Missed spots and didn't even do my cuticles. I had 2 different men. The one on my toes sucked and left and the guy who did my hands was either high or half dead. Just bad. Horrible shape uneven lengths. Maybe they have a good technician somewhere but I recieved subpar treatment from both that I encountered. Don't recommend.

I absolutely love this shop and all their employees. I have never once gotten bad service. I even booked my wedding party there and they did such an amazing job. Mai is the best in town. I will never go anywhere else.

First off most of these reviews are old from a previous owner!! The owner is very rude, she tried to coerce me to get my nails done. I was getting a pedicure and had an appointment to get my nails filled somewhere else, she came up to me and tried to talk me into doing my nails there. When I didn’t want to do what she wanted me to do she got really mad and said “forget it” and huffed off. I didn’t want to get my nails done there because not everyone does good shaping of nails. The owner did my nails before and they weren’t good. The owner had no business being combative with me as I was just minding my own business and getting a pedicure. Anyway I won’t be stepping foot back in that salon unless there’s a change of ownership. If these nail salons continue with the toxicity I will gladly go back to doing my own nails and keeping my money in my pocket book!!
