I called in the morning and asked if they availability for the day of. They got my 3 yr old in and I cannot get over the patience Nick had with my son! It was unreal. He knew how to talk to him and get him to stay still. (Not an easy thing to do). I was impressed with the pricing as well!
The shop had a very cool and unique feel to it. I just kind of felt as if I was going to a family members house to get a casual cut! My husband saw our sons cut and immediately made an appt to get his hair cut next!
I went to another place that wouldn't do what I asked and they ended up messing my hair up. Thankfully I was able to find this place. Since my hair got messed up and cut way too short, I wasn't sure how well it would look in a different style but Jeff gave me a really great cut that I'm comfortable with. He was sure to pay attention to every detail and was communicating the whole time to make sure I liked the way he was going with it. Thank you very much. I'll be back.
I brought my 4 yr old to get his hair cut. Nitty Gritty was patient, professional, and good. I appreciate this place even though it was my first time here. My son wants to come back and my wife liked the haircut.
We just moved in the area and found this shop by luck. Very cool ambience. My teenage son loved his haircut. He is very picky and specified exactly how he wanted his cut and it’s what Nick gave him. Very talented barbers!
Great cuts for all ages. My son and I get out fresh cuts with nick and Jeff. love the the old barbershop vibes. highly recommend this shop for cuts and good conversations

After sport clips messed up my sons hair for the 3rd time we found our saving grace here! The appointment was with the owner and he did an amazing job. We will be coming here from now on!
I happened to stumble upon this shop (for the first time)after needing 2 haircuts for my boys aged 8 and 3. After a quick Google search, we came across 5th Mill Barbershop. We were pleased to have an appointment within 2 hours of my call, which was fantastic. Once we arrived, I noticed that the shop had a really good zen vibe to it(relaxed and calm). The owner/barber(Nick) is extremely personable and did an awesome job on my boy's cuts. He was professional, kind and even informative. Overall, I highly recommend this location for your cuts. We definitely will be back in the future. Thanks for the good service guys????
