We love it! My daughter in law thinks it's adorable with friendly people, well stocked, clean, fresh produce and great meat department with plenty of selections! It's so nice to have this market close by to rely on! Oh ya, and there's a coffee/ juice bar, a sushi bar with freshly made sushi daily and a super deli with too many selections to mention. So go see for yourself and enjoy the experience!!

Danish Herring Substitute found. Has great herrings from Blue Hill Bay. They are not Danish but just as good. Add 3 heeping teaspoons white sugar to the wine sause and and dill heerings. Stir gently. Let soak for a couple of days. Viola, just like herrings from Denmark but cheaper and fresher. The kryddersild, Matjes, are ready to go without sugar. Only substitute I have found in the US that are any good.

I went to Solvang as a tourist on Jan,14th then stopped by the grocery to buy a nutella. I didn’t check the expiration at that time. I checked when I already left Solvang. I cant believe they sold the expiration food to customers. So be careful and CHECK when you’re at store !!!!

Great local wine selection here. Good prices. Ozzy can assist with any questions regarding the wines. 10% off when buying 6 bottles. Case discount on Thursday. Great neighborhood market with lots of items. Deli selection is good. Always worth a visit.

Nice selection of meats and lunchmeats. Really like Boar's head and they are reasonably priced. I like the fresh items and their deli. I find them friendly MOST of the time. Sometimes they are paying attention to another employee and not the customer.

This place is great for stocking up when I camp over at Lake Cachuma, They sell firewood that is locally sourced. This is a nice grocery store for not being part of one of the major chains. I have always found the staff that work here to be more than willing to help out finding things.

This store is okay. I personally would rather shop at Albertons or El Rancho. There deli is about as high priced as El rancho, but the food is not as good. Sometimes the tone of the store is just not upbeat or cheerful. I love that the owners are local, but would like to see some changes after 20+ years after being in business. Good luck guys!
