Best PlaceJuice Reviews

We have been using Nichols for at least 4 years and haven't had a bad meal yet. Fish and chips are well prepared by an owner and staff who care about their customers and the meals are very good value.
Probably the best fish and chips in South Leeds?! Good size portions always taste consistently the same all the time - every time, and staff are always polite as well.
Look.... It's a fish and chips shop.
But it's probably the best I've come across in our area of Leeds for many years.
Food is good, cooked fresh and priced well.
Best gluten free fish and chips I've tasted. Really good portions. Right friendly staff.
IF I COULD OFFER 0 I WOULD! Owner very rude, offers telephone orders but doesn’t like taking workers single item orders such as x1 fish and chips to collect for a 12:30/12:40 as I know it is busy then. Comes to collect at time ordered (7/8 people in line at shop) to get hassle from the same guy on phone (owner) and to be told I can’t order single items and it wasn’t ready!! Waste of my 30minute break and wouldn’t go back ever! Time waster stay clear!!
I am writing this review on the back of another review (Kev Armitages review)
I was in the shop yesterday at the same time.
Can I just say he was very rude .
I also was on my break .
They were very busy at the time.i use this fish shop all the time
And I have never had a issue.
If you want good fish and chips you need to learn to wait. Its not the owners
Or the staffs fault. If you haven't time to wait on your break may be take a pack up. 0000 star for a customer.
Nicols keep.doing what your doing.
Best chippy in Leeds bar none.
Used to be my local but now I'm out of area.
Still the only chippy I'll use when I'm in the neighborhood
Nicely cooked fish in crispy batter, not greasy at all. Chips were nice and fresh. I ordered a standard size and a smaller size (it’s called senior’s fish & chips). Portions were so big we couldn’t finish them! Scraps were an extra bonus, was still crispy after 5 hours.
Had a food poisoning from not-fully-cooked fish from another fish & chip shop in June so was a bit wary but I was very happy with theirs. Wanted to try them for the past 6 months after reading the Google reviews and reviews from neighbours in my area on a Facebook group, and they were right!
Friendly staff. Car park available and no yellow line in front of the shop so you won’t have a problem with parking.
