DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK AT MIMI'S AFRICAN BRAIDING NEARBY INSTEAD. I would not recommend getting your hair braided here. Patricia is extremely unprofessional. I recently went to this shop as a last minute resort to get braids. I was overcharged and the work was terrible. She was clearly in a rush to go somewhere and did not allow my hair to dry properly. I woke up the next morning and my entire head was white due to overuse and undried gel (how embarrassing). I had to keep my head covered with a scarf for days until i eventually took the braids out. A complete waste of TIME AND MONEY. I sent Patricia photos and she refused to issue a partial refund. She insisted that she would add oil sheen and could scrape the gel out, after I told her the gel was embedded deeply in my hair. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE EVEN AS A LAST RESORT. A TRUE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I HAVE WITNESSED THIS HAPPEN TO OTHER PATRONS AS WELL AT THIS SHOP. IT IS ALWAYS EMPTY FOR A REASON (UNLIKE OTHER BRAIDING SHOPS). STAY AWAY!!
Prices did not match quality and service. She was accommodating but Kristelle spent the majority of the time on her phone and running the store across the street so I was there way longer than I should have been. It was salon price but comparable to going over someone’s house. Didn’t like my hairstyle, it looked nothing like what I showed her, Which was to be expected because she quickly glanced over it one time. I had plenty of red flags, the salon has pictures of other people’s work on the outside (big red flag) and they like to price gauge and not tell you about additional prices until you get there. Adonai’s is pricier but they take a little bit more pride in their work and you will leave with what you asked for and pay the originally quoted price
The 1st time I went in was for starter locs and the owner did an amazing job. I came back for a re-twist and she had someone else retwist and they put so much spritz, my hair was dripping and it went in my eye. So when I returned for my 3rd retwist and requested for the owner to do them. She was having a conversation with another beautician who was standing over me the whole time. Then for some reason re twisted my hair dry and put me under the dryer. She should have at least dampened my hair when retwisting my locs. Why was I put under the dryer when my hair was not wet. I paid $50 and when I got home my locs were already untwisting themselves. I will never go back.
Pattie really knows hair. She is kind and professional not to mention she did a marvelous job. Give her a try and once you do you won't want anyone else to do your hair. ....

Been going here for 5 years now and they are always professional and friendly. I don’t trust anyone else to do my braids and protective styles. Definitely worth the hour drive!!!
They very clean, neat, fast and painless braiding duo I ever meet. Mrs. Patty is so talented; any photo style you give her. She is mimic it flawlessly.

Patricia was great! I had a horrible experience with another stylist shop and called here and she took me right away! She did an amazing job on my starter locs! And she gave me great instructions on how to care for my hair as well! Thank you so much Patricia! I will see you in 2 weeks! :)
I called this shop and spoke with owner Ms Patty and she was able to work me in on short notice the next day. She and her staff worked on my hair. I was out about 3 hrs. I’m so satisfied with my braids! I will be returning to this shop. They were very nice and professional! Great work ladies!!! You all were truly a blessing to me.
I had to get a weave take down and she did it pretty fast . She also washed my hair so good it felt like a massage ????????♀️! Best hair wash I ever received at any hair salon! I was also a walk in on a Saturday and she took me ASAP ! Love my two braids that I got done and others love it too????
