My wife and I have been coming here for about two years for pedicures. Always do a great job and very freindly.
One nail broke and they had the audacity to charge me full price for 1/5th of the work! lazy and disrespectful staff want to overcharge you for a regular service and still feel the need to charge you to get ONE nail redone. please find a honest and dependable shop that have respectable people in them who choose to give you good service instead of this sub-par laughable joke of a shop!
I’ve been coming to Nails R Us for many years. This past Saturday (January 2019) I came in for a new SNS set,normally I ask for the same tech, but this week I wasn’t being picky(for once lol) to my great surprise they now have a new girl Nicole. I sat down and she went right to work, She asked all the detail questions to complete my service,plus throughout the service. She worked very fast,with complete quality work. If your in the market for a wonderful shop,this is the one! If your looking for someone to go above and beyond ask for Nicole! I appreciate this shop hiring technicians that speak English and a women of color. The owners at this shop know how to give there clients a great atmosphere along side technicians that can do it all. I will be coming back to see Nicole!
After today, I have absolutely NOTHING good to say about this nail salon. Not only do they talk badly about their customers to other customers, they also lack phone etiquette. I called today to make an appointment with RUBY only to be hung up on by her in mid conversation. When I called back, I was told by her that she was too busy. I didn't even tell her when I wanted to come in!
Not to mention, their nail techs aren't remotely skilled at their profession. A few months back, the tech working on my nails somehow managed to rip half of my real nail off during an acrylic fill-in. How does that happen?!
DO NOT waste your time or money.
Just because I am a younger customer doesn't mean you can rush through my nails and leave them crooked and then proceed to give me a attitude when I ask you fix it. I am a paying customer and I will get the respect I deserve, young lady or not. It will be a little before I go back because I am still upset with the outcome of my nails (full set of gel 1 color) for $40. Staff and boss of the business needs to work on taking their time and being more polite. Yesterday the service was absolutely pitiful.
Professional and courteous! This is the ONLY salon that I have continuously been to for the last 10 years. The new salon name is Venus Nail Spa just right up the walkway from the old Nails R’ Us
I went in just getting a polish. My nail tech(Tina) asked why? I told her because of the line of work I do nothing really last and I needed to keep my nails natural as possible. She suggested S&S and told me it will last a long time it also gives vitamin E and it's great on natural nails. Now of course this wayyy more expensive than a regular polish. I went ahead and agreed to try it out. It came out nice and I was satistifed. Not even a good 3 days later I noticed the polish was was lifting. I go back to let them know what was going on and I was told to come back because she wasn't there and she will do it for me again. I said ok no problem. Well the next day I go back I show her my nails and she try's to figure out what happen. Mind you when I originally went I told her what I did and that I have to consistently wash my hands that's why I was getting polish because I wasn't losing out on anything. She gets mad because now she has redo both hands because every single nail was messed up. When she was told I was coming in for her to fix my nails she thought only one was messed up. Now she has an attitude, talking about me like I didn't know, and does an half job on my nails. My nails look worst this second time.That was a waste of $35 and they will never get my business again.
I am VERY upset that I have been going here for about 5 years and this LAST time, I was told that it would be an additional cost for something that I had gotten many times without the extra charge(not a design). I am EXTREMELY upset that my eyebrows were totally messed up, when my only tech knows exactly what to do each time...they were not only thinned out but one brow was cut MUCH shorter than the other. Being a former cosmetologist(and just knowing regardless), I KNOW that your brows should not be cut in the almost in the middle of your eye and you have to draw the remaining on with pencil!! They need to SLOW DOWN and treat each customer with care because it's a service for a service, you are not doing me a favor... I am a paying, and have paid quite a lot over the years! Just because you are really busy at times does not give you the right to rush and send me away as though you did a good job! I WAS loyal, but after much thought, three strikes and you are out. I will take my business elsewhere.
