I have been her twice and had service done by the woman who runs this business. The third has made me want to take my dollars elsewhere. I came in for sculptured nails today 21/11/2022 A Caucasian woman walked in an half hour after me a was able to be serviced before me. The owner stated she had an appointment. When I tried to make an appointment months ago I was there were no appointments, first come first served. So I Left!My husband called to make me an appointment and we were told there are NO APPOINTMENTS! The only reason she pushed me off, the owner explained because the Caucasian woman was a regular. I see this goes on a lot down here especially in this area. I am a paying customer and that’s all that should matter. I guess I will travel down to Charlotte from now on.

This has to be the worst acrylic nail job I've ever witnessed. My daughter & niece both had their full sets put on very sloppily by the male tech. I'm not sure he thought he could give them half professional service because they are young teenagers but this was INCREDIBLY disappointing. My niece's polish was so sloppy & thick that it looked like she did it herself. He even had an attitude when we said something & the female tech said she would redo it. I give them points for making good on redoing the gel polish for her & making it right but 4 of her nails popped off just 5 days later - this is not her first time having acrylic nails,

so we cant say she doesnt know how to care for them . My daughter had a nail pop off at the 7 day mark. This is ridiculous & a complete waste of money. Never again.

This is the absolute worst nail salon I’ve ever been too! I got a full set done by the male nail tech, his work was very sloppy. Three days later three of my nails on the right hand fell completely off.. I went to get them replaced and he started yelling at me about being careful and charged me to have them replaced. Now two nails on the left and and one on the right has fallen again.. and it hasn’t been two weeks.. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 I am now 48 so I know how to take care of my nails… I sit at a desk for a living so what more can I do to be “careful “ I was better off with press on nails!!! On a better note, my eyelashes are very nice.. just don’t get your nails done.

I LOVE MIMI!!! She is the best at doing my nails. She is also very quick and efficient, but that doesn't take away from the quality of her work or the beauty of the finished product. Shop is clean and orderly and they have TONS of polish options. She is very sweet and likes to get to know her clients. Nails by Mimi is the only place I will go for my nails.

I’m new to the area, recently moved from Charlotte. I never been so annoyed while getting my feet and eyebrows done. Mimi is rude. I’ve told her several times to fix my brows and feet and she was unprofessional. If your looking for great service , and actually work hard for your money and want a good service , this place isn’t it! No scrubbing , barely trimming of my feet nails, the polish was poorly done. My brows don’t even look waxed. Horrible. I will drive back to Charlotte it’s worth the money and customer service..

I have been here a few times....to try and give the place a chance because I'm done of duke and these r dukes people. To thin uneven nails and rushing. The rushing I did not like at all.... And not very friendly. I almost felt like I was a problem because what I wanted. I wasn't difficult at all. I like the medium to long length with some art and bling and I just felt it was something they didn't want to do. They even tryed talking me out of the nail length. Which I don't agree with.... You would have to base your opinion yourself when u go. Some people love Mimi and love this place and others don't have that kind experience when they go. I personally think the people that love this place and Mimi r regular and all the time clients...

My husbands feet are not the prettiest, but they gave him excellent service!
