I was scheduled to go to my regular nail salon but the time wasn’t working for me due to a commitment to attend an event for that same time. My grandson happen to be next door at the barbershop and I decided I’d look up the reviews for nails tel. Turns out Jenny and Tony were the go to. I got Tony and I was very satisfied. I most definitely plan to be a returning customer.

I started going here right before the pandemic and have mostly had a good experience. Make an appointment with Jenny or Tony. They do the best nails. The lady with blonde hair , not so much. She is not as detailed & her designs are subpar. For the reviews complaining about lashes and/or waxing, I take that with a grain of salt. Those services should really be performed by an aesthetician not the nail shop.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. This place is very dirty. Everything is disgusting. I walk in and my first inclination was to leave (run) bc it was filthy. Dust from previous customers nails are on everything including the chairs, dirty towels on the floor beside the pedicure stations, a filthy sink and the room used for massages was disheveled with dirty walls and pink sheets. The health department would have a field day in this place. Tony started my nails but got upset and said he could not finish my nails. He was horrible. He wasn’t smoothly covering the entire nail and wanted me to simply accept what he was offering. When I refused to settle he said he couldn’t not do my nails in a very aggressive manner. I then ask the people in the salon if they are going to address my unfinished nails and no one responded. Letting me know that this place is use to treating their customers (primarily all Black customers) with disrespect. Subpar services for their Black customer base and if you dare ask for cleanliness or professionalism you will be ignored. Black women and men please take your business to a place that respects you, values your business and respects the community it operates it’s business in bc that is not Nail Tek in Forrestville, MD or District Heights, MD. Worst experience to date. Luckily for me a nearby nail salon finished the manicure for me and I was able to walk away without giving any of my money to Nail Tek.

Tony does my nails and he's super great. Everyone speaks fluent English. Love their energy. It's just 4 of them but they be getting it in. Very professional and clean atmosphere. Definitely recommend by me.

Jenny took care of me, it was my first time here. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how nice she was. She shaped my nails perfectly, and helped me pick my polish color based on a picture I showed her. Really nice! Polish job could have been a bit better, hence the 4 stars. I will definitely go back.

I really like this place. As a guy I'm not made to feel awkward for taking care of myself. I even have the option which take, to have a male attendant. Tony & Andy are top notch & do a very vigorous & professional job. I don't like having to follow all the COVID guidelines they insist upon but I know they are mindful of health practices which is a plus. They can be a little busy but I generally can get a last minute appointment

I have been going to this nail salon for the past few months and always get the same thing. A gel French pedicure. But yesterday I got a full set for the first time in 3 years and Jenny (?) did AMAZING! My nails are so clean cut and very cute. She did amazing on my toes as well!

Today
