2 stars only because I got in right away with no wait. However there was no wait because there was absolutely no customers in there. Have you ever walked into a nail salon where there are no customers? And I went to this one because I first stopped at one close by but it was packed and it was a 30 minute wait, which I didn’t have time for. I got acrylic and when the nail tech put my hand under the uv light my nails literally burned and an awful chemical smell was blowing in my face. There were three people working and while I was in there two other customers walked in for pedicures at two different times. They were told they couldn’t get them in and sent away. So the whole time I was in there I was the only customer. The nail tech kept telling me to relax my hand, yes as you can imagine just like Angela Johnson would say. I thought I was relaxed I didn’t know what else he wanted me to do. Needless to say I won’t be going back. The photos are after a week of having them done, they don’t even look worthy of being filled when that time comes, they’re already lifting near the cuticle. Save your money and go somewhere else and wait. The fact that the salon was empty should’ve been my first red flag.
My daughter and I went today-she had a French tip gel manicure and I had a deluxe pedicure. Both of us were very happy with our service. Ben did my pedicure and he was awesome-gentle on my nails and the leg massage was perfect. My first trip there and her second, we will definitely return. Clean and not overly crowded at the time.
All went well just didn’t like being charged to remove my old gel nail polish, felt nicked and dime.
I've been getting my nails done with Jennifer since the week the salon opened. I spent 3 years searching for a nail technician who actually painted my nails all the way to the cuticle. With Shellac, my nails typically last 2-3 weeks, usually 3. I recently moved away to Atlanta & have dreaded starting the process of finding a technician over again because no one will do the job like Jennifer. I came back to visit my dad & the first thing I did was book an appointment with her. Just left & I'm happy as can be!
I asked for black ombré and they said they have never had ANYONE ask for a black ombré nail before & apparently he has been doing nails his whole life… ? Not super professional on the phone watching YouTube videos. They also told me they were not able to draw the moon but tried to anyways. They also left Acrylic on the skin around my nails so it looks kinda messy. Definitely won’t be back.
Just moved to the area and am happy to find this place so close to my new home. It looks s a welcoming and relaxing environment. I will definitely be back!!!
