I needed a barber for my son to get him ready for his senior portrait. I wanted his hair trimmed and his beard/mustach/sideburns dealt with, as well. By a professional! A Google search led me here and we couldn't be more pleased.

I made an appointment with Ricky, but walk-ins are welcome. Ricky was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and engaging with both me and my son. The charge, just $18.00.

I'd describe the feel as contemporary man-cave, and most of the staff are men. Would highly recommend and will return with my other son, soon.

I recently moved to the Mt. Tabor neighborhood and noticed that Mt. Tabor Barbershop had a sign that said “walk-ins welcome”. So, one day while out for a walk I stopped in.

It was a clean, bright shop and had comfortable seating. One of the barbers greeted me warmly and said that someone would be with me shortly.

After only about 10 minutes Ricky Mitchell said he was ready for me.

I can only say that he gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in many years! He was pleasant and though we had a nice conversation, he didn’t talk endlessly! I liked that and overall my experience at Mt. Tabor Barbershop was outstanding!

I have been a customer for 15 years. I enjoy the atmosphere of a father and son that has made their life mission to be the best barbers. I am a former Marine; and I use to drive home on weekends just to have Ricky cut my hair. Lifelong customer, the greatest people you will ever meet!

Can't recommend Chip enough, the beard and hair come out looking great each time.

It’s a clean, comfortable shop where I’m always greeted with a warm welcome. I greatly appreciate a family run business where I consistently get a professional cut exactly to my liking. Not only do I get the cut I want, but my 5 & 7 year old girls LOVE getting their hair cut there also.

Tried several different barber shops after moving to Winston and after one trip to Mt Tabor this is the only place I'll go the last 5+ years. Ricky always does a great job for me and the whole staff is friendly. Convenient location, quick service, hard to beat it.
