Little gem of a place. 100% the best mussles in Newquay. The chef is a lovely bloke and couldn't do enough for us. Really fresh produce and even treated us to a complimentary oyster as we were the last of the evening. Will be visiting again very soon. Make sure you arrive early as there is only a couple of tables but you can take away!!!

Absolutely these Are the best mussels in the world. Lovely place can eat in or takeaway we where lucky enough to get a seat as only small venue but this definitely adds to the vibe. It’s a must if you enjoy your seafood, the pasta my wife had was also Devine. Ben the dog ???? is adorable. Will definitely visit again next time we visit. Thanks guys. ????

This was a random and lucky find during our pit stop in Newquay. The guys were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant itself doesn’t sit many people but they told us to keep going down the road to steps that lead to some benches overlooking the sea which was lovely. The Moules Marinières were delicious, nice big juicy mussels and some yummy bread for dipping! Would 100% recommend :)

Super fresh succulent plump mussels from the Fowey estuary - absolutely stunning. I opted for them with cider and bacon. A large bowl arrived shortly after the order with chunks of fresh local bread(I swerved this due to dietary issues). Absolutely first class in every way. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Tucked away on South Quay Hill is the most amazing little restaurant with the best moules I've ever had! The two guys cooking are great and certainly know their stuff - we tried the mariniere and the smoked bacon & cider and both were delicious ???? Plenty of bread supplied and we were asked if we wanted more. It's soft drinks or bring your own booze, which is perfect ???? But get there early as seating is very limited. They do takeaway too, as well as pasta and seafood. A wonderful gem and worth looking for ???? Dogs welcome too!

Everything, food , taste, service, place, all phenomenal!!!!!

Small place but cozy, the decorations inside made me feel like i am at my friends house and waiting for them to bring out the food.

Very limit menu always mean this is what they do best and yes couldn’t agree more.

We had one with red wine and chorizo , another was mariniere ( we didn’t want cream in it and they were happy to do it for us )

Big potions, lovely soft bread and the mussels wowwwww sauce were so phenomenal and mussels were so fresh and cooked on point!

Btw, this place is BYO

Thank you to Aaron and Ben for preparing flavourful buckwheat no cream salmon pea pasta for my dinner. It was simple and light. Yum. I will come back for more if possible.????
