If you want reasonable priced food and coffee in a nice atmosphere, but food is basically English breakfast fare, there are options to have jacket potatoes with different topings etc, the ham egg an chips was delicious and with coffee came to less than £9, so i think exceptional value for money ????
Really enjoyed this. Staying at Toddington services (only 10 minutes away) after visiting legoland, we wanted something to eat before the 4 hour journey home. I have a VERY picky 15 year old who had spaghetti bolognese and actually ate it all! The mince pie was nice, the mashed potato was lovely, tasted like baked potato, but that's ok, its what I use when making corned beef pie. Would recommend if you're wanting some quick cafe food.
It's a nice friendly cafe in Sundon Park, Luton. If your looking for a noughty fry up this is the place for you. Plenty of newspaper to read while drinking your cupa.
I went to the Morton's Cafe this morning for my breakfast and it was very nice and I will go there all the time and the people in the cafe are very nice people
Good customer service.
Good cafe food served with a smile ????
Great place for a full English breakfast. ????
Great food, great people and services.
Hidden Gem. Had a fantastic breakfast at 1pm and inside had a little place for kids to come and adults to relax and grab a bite to eat and coffee. Hot chocolate was so nice too. Highly recommended and we will definitely be going again. 5* as the customer service is brilliant and food was really delicious

Quick Facts About Morton's Cafe

Morton's Cafe, located in Sundon Park, Luton, has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. Firstly, many customers praise the reasonable pricing of the food and coffee. With a meal consisting of a ham, egg, and chips with a coffee costing less than £9, it is seen as exceptional value for money. This is a significant strength as it attracts budget-conscious customers who are looking for good quality food and beverages at affordable prices.
Furthermore, the cafe is noted for its nice atmosphere. Several customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming environment, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. This strength helps to create a positive experience for customers, encouraging them to return and recommend the cafe to others.
The cafe's menu, while mainly consisting of English breakfast fare, also offers some variety. Customers have the option to choose jacket potatoes with different toppings, providing some alternatives to the traditional breakfast options. This variety is a strength as it caters to a wider range of tastes and preferences.
The cafe's location is also seen as a strength. Being only 10 minutes away from Toddington services, it attracts customers who are passing by or visiting nearby attractions such as Legoland. This convenient location ensures a steady flow of customers, especially those who are looking for a quick cafe meal before continuing on their journey.
Another strength of Morton's Cafe is the praise it receives for its customer service. Many customers highlight the friendly and accommodating nature of the staff, commenting on the good customer service. This strength is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for customers, as it creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Moreover, the cafe is described as a hidden gem by some customers. This positive feedback suggests that Morton's Cafe may not be widely known or frequented, but those who discover it are pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. This reputation as a hidden gem can be a strength as it adds an element of exclusivity and intrigue, making customers feel like they have found a hidden treasure.
However, despite its strengths, Morton's Cafe also has a few weaknesses. Firstly, some customers mention that the food is primarily English breakfast fare. While this may be appealing to some, it may not accommodate those who are looking for a wider range of options or who prefer different cuisines. This limited menu selection can be seen as a weakness, as it may deter potential customers who are seeking more diverse choices.
Additionally, one customer mentions that the mashed potato tasted like a baked potato. Although this feedback is subjective, it hints that the quality of the food may not be consistent or meet everyone's expectations. Inconsistent food quality can undermine the overall dining experience and may discourage repeat visits from customers who have had a less than satisfactory meal.
In conclusion, Morton's Cafe has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. The reasonable pricing, nice atmosphere, variety in the menu, convenient location, good customer service, and status as a hidden gem all work in its favor. However, some weaknesses such as the limited menu selection and potential inconsistency in food quality may impact the overall experience for some customers. Overall, Morton's Cafe appears to be a popular and well-regarded establishment, appealing to those looking for an affordable and enjoyable dining experience.
