First let me say I just moved here from Pennsylvania where I used the same hairdresser for years so I was nervous about finding someone new. My neighbor recommended Mild to Wild and I couldn’t be happier that I chose this salon. Valerie colored and cut my hair and did a fabulous job! She listened to what I wanted and also gave suggestions on what I might like. She didn’t push me into anything I didn’t want. I love the cut!!! I have found my Florida salon!
The receptionist here is TERRIBLE. We had an appointment scheduled with Mary. We show up and are very rudely informed that our appointment was booked with Sherry and that Mary is unavailable. We arranged our entire day around this appointment and her only response was “yeah, sorry”. Absolutely unacceptable. Zero accountability for her mistake. She even tried to shift the blame onto us for not confirming who we made the appointment with. The only decent thing about this place is Mary, who has cut our hair several times and is wonderful. However, I don’t think we will be returning.
First time in years I had my hair cut the way I wanted it, friendly, caring to your needs. Will be a regular for sure !
Always a great place. Service is always excellent. The ladies are always listening to what I desire. And, they get the job done!

When I first moved to Florida looking for a house to buy, I rented on Ocala for 3 months. During that time I needed a cut and color. Saw Mild to Wild and just knew it was the place for me. Mary did my hair and it was EXACTLY what I asked her for. Finding a house in Dunnellon, I was in need of service again. I tried 4 placed in my area and was disappointed EVERY time. That's when I said "Enough" and went back to Mary. I will never leave her again. !!!!
Sherri is amazing! The salon is quiet and clean, the stylist really paid attention and gave me everything I asked for.
I love the haircuts I get from Valerie. She listens to what you want and does exactly that . I’m a retired barber and hairdresser of 37 years and I have to say she is the best!!!
