I have been going to Men’s Haircare since I was in middle school and currently still going after I graduated college. For the past couple years I’ve lived in New York and had to get my hair cut at other barbershops, and none of them have ever lit a match to Julie’s service and friendliness. I consider Julie a wonderful lady (who can cut great hair of course) with a genuine and caring personality, and that’s what keeps me coming back here after all these years. She truly knows what she’s doing because when I go in there I don’t even know what to ask for, she already knows how to make it look good. Can’t say a bad thing about her and highly recommend you choose her business for your haircuts.

So I go in and set down. The first girl had no idea what she was doing. The Spanish girl stepped in and fixed my hair. Seeing as how I have a cosmetology degree myself I usually cut my own hair. However today I decided to let someone else do it. I say this to say that the haircut I wanted is simple in nature and should be easy to do. Well, it was for the girl who saved my hair. As for the owners response to my review.....Hey, yeah you.....stop being bitter. Nobody likes bitter old ladies. Just be you in all your glory. Grow OLD gracefully. The attitude doesn't look good on anyone. Now zip it. ????

So Jennifer was FANTASTIC! Like I love how she did the best cut I’ve had in in the past year hands down????????I appreciate the effort and the dedication. Plus the conversations where entertaining thank you for making my Friday night!!????????

I had a great experience at Men’s Haircare! Miss Julie is an absolute doll. I had my hair cut by Shabana, and she was very thorough and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and they are seriously amazing at what they do. If you was the bee’s knees of a haircut, come here. Won’t regret it unless you don’t have a sense of humor. Lol

Friendly and inviting vibe when you first walk in. Love that they finish with shaving cream, straight edge & warm towel - so Ol' School! Definitely going back.

As the family member of an elderly person with health issues, I am appalled to hear of the treatment of my friend’s father. Making “jokes” at someone’s expense is never in good taste. Watching a loved one experience dementia and Parkinson’s disease is already painful, but to see them embarrassed by someone’s nasty comments is more than I would be able to handle. Please consider holding trainings for your employees on appropriate topics for comedy, humble apologies, and general ways go be a decent human being. I will make sure never to bring my grandfather here and preserve his dignity.

Great service, and haircut. Alex took her time to make my hair perfect. They offer free beer as well for customers. It is a shame I was only in town visiting for my nephews graduation from UNCW.
