Lovely warm friendly staff, superb quality food at affordable prices for all pockets. Clean comfortable environment. Hospitable staff from the front of house to the culinary creators. Would recommend to everyone

Left 90% of the food, service was so bad I wasn’t even asked if everything was okay, they just took it and quickly walked off emptying into a trolly like school dinners. General feel in this place is grim, what looks to be one of the owners a Middle Aged gentleman singing songs at the top of his voice to himself as if he was auditioning for X factor and decor from the late 80’s with the occasional tacky chair dropped in the mix. Wouldn’t recommend and was expensive!

Lovely friendly staff, always a joy to visit with my family. Not too noisy like other cafes so you can hear when talking. Haven't tried food yet just the drinks. Toilets nice and clean.

Lovely friendly staff always willing to put a smile on your face. Disability access into the diner. Good food, good drinks, good company. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Carvery is better value for money than I’ve found anywhere else.

Sadly this place has now changed managememt. It's not the good old Galleries like in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough anymore.

2018 review:

Lovely place for traditional English food. Fish and chips, scampi, etc. Need to walk upstairs to find it, next to Boyes.

Good food, good prices, lovely staff.

Absolutely amazing! Grate food and outstanding energy from the staff! You can tell the chef is in love with cooking and knows what he’s doing! “Carl the gravy king” is an outstanding guy! I love it here!
