I love this barber shop. The prices are decent and it’s located in a convenient area, with plenty of parking.
Rick, the owner is also a cool guy and he really appreciates his customers. My only issue is when he got rid of the option to book appointments. It was so much more convenient when clients were able to book appointments on line. Now Rick accepts walk-ins only, and to be honest, I don’t like that at all.
It’s a huge inconvenience and it takes an extremely long time to get serviced, depending on the number of barbers working on whatever particular day, and of course, how many clients are waiting.
I don’t like sitting in the barber for hours just for my child to get a haircut or a simple lining. I appreciate the barbers taking their time and doing superior work, however, I preferred having the option to be able to book online. My advice is to get to the shop first thing in the morning when it opens.
Marvelous Barber school has a very professional environment. I have been getting my haircut for at least a year now, I have to say the barbers here are very talented and skilled. The salon is always clean and sanitize. The owner is always training and showing different techniques in understanding the different methods in perfecting the correct hair line and blend in fades. If your in the area you should try them out.
Located in Fountain Square, this barber shop works to train new barbers how to cut hair. My initial visit, I was hesitant because I had some bad experiences with barber schools as well as local barber shops. I always have gotten my hair cut the same way for the last 7 years, and coming here I got the best product. It’s EXACTLY as I asked, and they made sure I loved it. The biggest thing going in is remember they are learning to cut hair, but they will never leave you unsatisfied. I highly recommend coming here for a fresh fade, trim, or whatever you need.
Relocated to California from Illinois recently. I can honestly say that I've tried 4 different barbers in Cali and not one shop in California comes close to what Mr. Rick and barbershop offers. The attention to detail from Mr. Rick to his customers is above and beyond. It's the small details that set Mr. Rick apart from his competitors. When I come back to visit, this is must stop for me.
My nephew recently graduated from the Navy and he was in desperate need of proper a haircut and lineup so someone on base recommended Marvelous Barber School. Although there were 2 people ahead of him when we got there, the barber, Mr. Rick aka “Marvelous” did an awesome job and got him right!!! Too bad my nephew will be heading out in a few weeks. Otherwise, he would’ve made Marvelous his official barber!
I absolutely loved it!! Me and my son were just there and it was so neat!! To be honest this was the best haircut I have had ever!! You should 100% go here. You must go there!! The barber was so funny and so nice to us!!! It deserves a 5 stars!!!
Been bringing my 4 boys here for a little over a year now. Mr.Rick & his students always do an amazing job. He always gets us in & out and the quality of the service is always great !
I'm new to the area and was looking for a barber and this is definitely the best cut I've had around here. Hector is great at what he does and very knowledgeable.
