Had a takeaway today but usually sit in. Plenty of food on your plate. Sunday dinners are beautiful. Very friendly staff and brilliant table service. Was served by a lovely young man very polite. Would definitely recommend MARIAN'S.
Went yesterday, extremely busy but still got served very quickly & staff friendly & welcoming. Lovely tasty food & superb value for money. We will definitely come back.
I always love going to Marian's for something to eat whilst visiting Workington with my mam. Staff are always friendly and food is always fantastic. Never a bad word to say about this place. Its brilliant.
I have been working in Workington on and off for 5 weeks and this is the best cafe by far. The food is amazing and the position are huge. The staff are very friendly and caring...I wish it was nearer to where I live
Nice basic cafe, good food quickly served. I had a breakfast bap, sausage, egg bacon and mushrooms with a pot of tea. My partner had toasted tea cake and a pot of tea, the tea cake was fresh. All for less than a tenner!!
On the menu, it says fresh orange juice, but it's simply orange juice from a discounter. Also on the menu, it says you can swap meat for meat. I wanted to swap my black pudding for bacon, but that was not possible or I would pay for the extra bacon. So what do they class the black pudding? As pudding?.
According to Graham, it's the best breakfast in town. In my opinion it is okay.
