Magic nails is a magical place with excellent service. They treat each and every client whether they are elderly, young, or disabled with excellent care and respect! I bring my 90-year-old mother here, my disabled sister, my 91-year-old mother-in-law and all my family including my sons to have their nails and toes done here! My favorite lady is Jennifer she is the best ever! Thank you Magic nails!!!
The price changed after the service finished, beware they only accept cash and do not like to make change from large bills. I got a gel manicure and pedicure but the nails started to lift the next day. I really dont recommend white tips or french tips because the line was painted on freehand from left to right so it was just an awful white squiggle at the bottom of my nails with brush strokes visible and sideways. Each nail had a different size white line. The way I've always had it done was the nail was painted white the same way you paint a nail then clean up the extra on top with a brush soaked in remover so there's a crisp half moon shape. Had to get everything done again a couple days later.
Honestly, not sure why this salon has such a low rating. Out of all the salons I’ve gone to in Monterey thus far, this is by far the best! Great service and prices. This will definitely be my go to salon from here on out. Thank you!
Got my nails done here for the first time the other day. I have been wanting to try this place for some time now as it always seems busy and is so conveniently located. I arrived a little late but the woman who did my pedicure was awesome I would definitely have her again. My nails came out ok. I would definitely go back but request the woman who did my toes to also do my nails and tip her double.
So if you follow me you'll know that there's only two nail shops I go to, this is one of them when I'm in Monterey the other one is in Salinas. Today I decided to get a pedicure and my experience here is always fantastic very clean very courteous they go above and beyond to help you. Their colors are nice and plentiful They're willing to try to work you in when they're swamped which is fantastic. What I like is when the owner is always there watching over everything it seems like when that is happening everything is smooth.

Overpriced. They rush you even when they aren’t busy. The lady doesn’t explain the pricing well.
Tip: if you go here and use the atm, don’t get out any additional money, only get what you need to pay, otherwise the lady will assume they deserve it all and try to rudely snatch it from your hand.
Perhaps my experience was just a series of misunderstandings but it’s unfortunate because I was very excited to go here for the first time and was let down in so many ways :/

Great experience. My nails and feet look great. I can't remember the first lady who attend it me. (Must find out her name). I was treated with so much gentleness. She kept asking if I was ok as I have pain. So this is my new nail place. Photos are 1 week after and feet are soft and smooth pretty, neon green pretty nails. ????????Recomend.❤
