My daughter and I came in for gel manicures, and I ended up getting a pedi, too. My daughter got her toes painted also. Lynn is wonderful! After a stressful morning at work, I am now fully relaxed and my nails look great!! Highly recommend.
I moved away to Mains after I got married, but miss this nail salon SO much! They always did great on my fills, pedis, and eyebrows! They are so friendly too.
I use to come here all the time years ago and got amazing service! I was not happy at all with my service this time. My pedicure was not done well nor was my manicure. I got Shelack Polish, that usually lasts weeks, and 5 days later it started peeling off. Will not be back
This is my first time coming to lovely nails 2. I wanted a normal pedicure and a gel manicure. I had gone with two of my other friends. I will definitely be going again for sure! Super professional and super clean. Really nice owners. Since it was my first time here one of the owners gave me a free design on my nails for my manicure! Overall great place and great experience. Will certainly be coming back!
This is the WORST place I have ever been to get my nails done. I asked for dip powders and they took it upon themselves to give me gel polish with acrylic powder. Said it would be better for me. Also I asked for the most simple thing, glitter ombré on ONE nail. She said my nails weren’t long enough. ???? Also the lady next to me asked for a French manicure and the woman working was completely dumb founded. She ended up painting her nails completely white. They definitely need more training.
New to the area and wanted to treat myself. Been hoping to find a place like the nail and spa place I went to frequently before I moved out here. This is not it! Brought in a brand new bottle of OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress for my pedi and was given back a half full bottle of Bogota Blackberry. These are not the same color.
Never have I ever had a salon openly steal my nail polish from me. Your a salon, if you don't carry it and like the color than go across the parking lot to the beauty supply store and get it. Stealing it from your customer is low and they can't say it was busy as I was the only person in the place on a Monday afternoon. Guess I'm out a bottle of nail polish and still looking for a good high quality nail salon. And no I don't recommend this place if they steal bloody nail polish from a new client and think they won't get caught.
I was in Moline for work and looking for a place to get my nails done before I went on vacation. This place had good ratings so I tried it. I got a gel pedicure and manicure. I am very picky about people taking their time when they paint my nails so there are not any missed areas and the color has enough coats. I had a nice gentleman who started my manicure and an older lady came by to look at his work and then kicked him out of the seat and took over. He was doing a decent job, but I was already seeing a couple of spots by the sides of the nails that were missed, but I didn't say anything. Anyway, when the other lady took over (and I have no idea if she was the owner or just an employee), she fixed everything and did an excellent job. Probably the best manicure I have had in terms of perfectly covering my nails. After a 7 day vacation at the beach and almost 3 weeks later, my toes and finger still look great! No chipping! The only issue is my nails are growing so I'll have to get them re-done. I really appreciate the perfectionism of the lady that worked on my nails and didn't let me leave with a job I would not have been totally happy with even though I would not have complained. Definitely would go back and I give them 5 stars!
We had a terrible experience at Lovely Nails 2. We made an appointment for 5 pedicures two weeks in advance. We get there and they were 20 minutes late. When we go back to get our pedicures done we were all seated at the same time but they only had two people doing all five pedicures. One person in our party waited with her feet in water for over an hour. They had to change her water twice bc it was getting too cold. One of the employees actually got up in the middle of one Of our pedicures and painted the nails of a walk in client. We were there for over two hours and there was never one apology. We of course will never go back and if it weren't for some of us having to use a gift certificate, we would have walked out. I do not recommend this unprofessional place to anyone seeking a relaxing pedicure experience.
