I'll preface this by saying I didn't bring flip flops or sandals.
Well, I've only had a professional pedicure once and that place was great. Here, not so much. My friend made a reservation for 2, when we arrived, all of the technicians were busy except for one. They started on my friend's nails, and it took about 15 minutes before someone started on mine.
During the process, another customer walked in, and an employee, working about 5 feet away from her, asked if she has an appointment. When she replied in the negative, the woman yelled that she'd have to wait.
Once the nail painting was over, the technician jumped to help someone else and left me to sit. She then came back a few minutes later and handed me a paper fan to dry the nails. I asked another employee if they had disposable slippers, and was told they were out.
Everything seemed a little unorganized, and while my technician seemed friendly enough, the overall experience was not very good.
I went here with 5 family members to get a pedicure. And I got 1 manicure. I called in advance and the wait was only an hour. We got there and they sat us all down in the pedicure chairs. They only had 3 technicians so the last and the first person had to wait around 20min, but that was fine waiting in the pedicure chairs. The chairs were new, but not great. The leg part doesn't scoot out like a recliner so my feet had to support their own weight on the hard plastic surface and they feel asleep. They also don't show you what settings the average person likes on the massage chair, so I was lost pushing the overwhelming amount of buttons. Her foot massage was also not great, she glided her hands over my calves and feet, but didn't actually massage the mussels. The hand massage was good though! Also, afterwards I got a pair of slippers (although I did have to ask). Overall it was a really nice experience. The ladies were kind and attentive. The place has a pretty beach mural, all the furniture looks good, it smells nice, and the music was pleasant. Also the employees are very honest, one of us left our wallet there and the next day it was behind the counter waiting for us. It wasn't perfect, but I did enjoy it and will gladly visit again.
I have been going to Lotus Nails for months now, yesterday I went in to get a fill & pedicure service was horrible. Hannah rushed, clients kept calling to make appointments and she would refuse because she was tired. Unfortunately it’s my last time going there for their horrible service & not taking their time.
I went to get a regular nail polish manicure. Worst experience ever. The man that did my manicure did it in such a RUSH, at one point he was standing up while painting my nails. He made me feel uncomfortable and like a burden because he was doing everything so rushed and wrong! I also noticed he didn’t sanitize everything because after I moved seats someone else sat there and he used the same tools with her.
After he finished the manicure part, he bluntly said “pay me now.” I was shook, he explained it was so I wouldn’t mess up my nail polish at the end, but it was rude and blunt. Anyway, the manicure/paint was so bad, it chipped within hours of leaving and SEVERAL nails have broken because he ruined them. I only went there because I’m traveling right now and can’t go to my usual spot where they treat me like an actual human being and not a transaction. I’m never going back.
When you walk into this establishment it is very clean and not cluttered at all. Their restroom is so clean and smells good. I can appreciate that they not only have a trash can but a recycling bin. Decor and music is very relaxing. They have plenty of colors to choose from. Regular and gel polish. Appointment was made at 0945, they called at 0947, I was literally parking. They will only wait for 5 minutes past your appointment time. They sit me and leave my feet in water for 20 minutes. The worker began and it is just like any other pedi I've received. I chose the Heavenly Pedicure. So that was a little better with the leg and foot massage. No drinks were offered like in other places but I do love their massaging chairs that lay you back. Nice place and I'll probably revisit.
Loved this place!! Went there on 12/04/22 @10am. What made the experience bad was the 2 older women sister's that drove 45min to get there, they were loud, and rude, and complained about everything!! No one wants to hear about ur drama, and health problems while getting nails done and trying to relax. Next time keep it in ur own town u 2 old bags!! Learn to respect a business, and people!!
"PAMPERED" is Lotus Nails in a nutshell. Then add tropical paradise, exceptional manicures and pedicures, in conjunction with professional, exquisite staff, you get a wonderful experience in every way.
I've been to many nail salons from Santa Barbara to Five cities, and have not found a salon that comes close to equaling Lotus Nail salon.
The facility is emaculate at all times. The manicurists spend all the time needed to make sure you have your needs met precisely according to your personal preferences. I have never bled, or left feeling anything but lovely and delighted. Their prices are so decent that I wonder if I actually paid enough for the service I received.
One day I was a little tired and my nails were soaking. So I put my head down to rest. Within moments I was offered a pillow to nap on. WOW! That was a first. They are so attentive in every way.
I like my nails a certain way, a little "old school" as you can see in my pics. But I've seen others leaving with amazing works of art. Also the happy sighs of those enjoying pedicures is expressive enough of the effective hands their in.
The thing I noticed after several visits is the absence of heavy manicure scents that make a person almost pass out when entering a salon.
I don't know how they do it.
