We came here for dinner & were surprised not many people were there around just before 6pm on a Friday night. We sat ourselves as instructed by the waitress, to unfortunately sit in a booth that was apparently just cleaned & the booth seats were still soaked. We ended up with wet pants. We figured out there was only one server which was fine, she was really nice. Our food took quite awhile (2 very small items). The food had no flavor what so ever, only thing was the guacamole & salsa for our chips. We were definitely disappointed which is a bummer since we had not been here before. Hopefully it was just a off night and maybe we will try again in the future.
Cute Mexican restaurant. Plenty parking. No need reservations. Host/waitress is very nice and great service. Food was ok but not great. I felt needed a little more flavor. Good prices.
Good food. Haven't been there for a few years. Since new owners and redecorated and the food is much better, we will diffinently be returning. Just need to cook the Chimichunga's

Don't want to say to much so here goes. My wife and I come here often because it's authentic and quiet. Meaning not noisy or crowded. Food like I used to get as a kid.
A really nice lunch today. The food was fresh and the service was prompt and friendly. As well, the prices were reasonable... All boxes checked. I don't normally hang out in Shingle Springs, but I will likely change my future plans just to eat here again. Likely, I will even make a special trip... Good stuff!
We love this place. We go every Tuesday for taco Tuesday. I honestly a little shocked about how few people know this place. The food is authentic AF. ????
Food was good before, now it is very good. Fresh, flavorful and the salsa, Was very good, better than I remember. It had been quite awhile since I'd been here. Will be back.
I ordered the beef enchiladas combo today and it was good. However, it was made with not much beef. It was also very drippy. It's not supposed to be like this. At least, the dessert was really good. It was baked ice cream with dribbling chocolate served in a taco shell. I just wish the server would have known how to balance drinks and the meals on a server plate! She kept coming back with each plate, one at a time.
