Best PlaceJuice Reviews

I was with the same salon for 20 years. When I moved, I was concerned about finding a new place that would be a good fit. Alicia and Vin were very welcoming and Alicia talked with me to fully understand my personality and make suggestions on different things I may like. I have been there 5 times now and feel great about giving a review. Each time I walk out with something new. I’m glad I found them.
Rude, rude, rude - Horrible Customer Service - I walked in on a Saturday morning, with my Dad, he's in a wheelchair. One male employee, was servicing a customer with a pedicure - he barely acknowledge us and continued working. Another woman was in the back of the salon - walking around, looking at us, but she failed to greet us or ask us any questions. After waiting for 6-7 minutes she informed us that we would have to WAIT, because they were both working on their ONLY client in the salon. it was obvious that they did not want to service three African American clients. I was mortified and my disabled Dad - who was looking forward to a pedicure, was crushed. They should be shutdown for discriminating against the elderly and disabled. Bad Business
I will never patronize this business ever again. The female nail tech has the personality of a corporate lawyer / male shark. Not friendly, patient or kind. Very displeased with my experience.
Sloppy and not at all what i wanted. She said she has her own style or whatever. LADY. If you cant do what im asking just say that and we’ll be have it easier. Sadly paying $130 is incredibly infuriating. GO TO NAIL STUDIO IN ROME GA ASK FOR JASMINE SHE IS 100000% BETTER ALWAYS DOES A FANTASTIC JOB FOR A REASONABLE PRICE
Alicia, the owner, is the main nail tech. Her husband is also a tech, though not at all as skilled. Other techs have come and gone love the year and a half that I have patronized this establishment... including mani/pedi techs. Prices are never consistent. Alicia charges what she desires on that day and time. The services are costly. Alicia is very much into nail design. Overtime i've learned that she does not give great effort or attention to a clients simply desiring a pristine shape and basic gel polish.
I appreciate Alicia's ability to seal acrylic at the cuticle. This is the only reason that I have been a returning customer. When the majority of nail techs service me, my acrylic lifts within days. Alicia's skill/method prevents lifting. However, my nails are never awesome. They are always mediocre in shape, polish application, etc.
Recently, I patronized Lavish Nails & Spa for a fill and pedi. It was either a Wednesday or Thursday... Totally Empty initially. I was first serviced by my usual pedi guy. I then went to Alicia's chair for my acrylic fill-in. Customers, without appointments, began to come in back to back. I could feel and see the rush job being done on my nails. She was asking the other customers questions, and making suggestions for them while doing my nails instead of focusing and finishing.
My nails turned out terrible. A waste of money and more so a waste of my time. My nails looked nothing like the picture that I showed Alicia several times. The shape was non existent. The nails were bulky. All was bad. Then not to mention, I examined my toes when I reached my vehicle, and my pedicure was beyond terrible too! I don't know what to say about my pedicure tech... maybe he was having an off day.
This nail salon was super comfortable and very affordable. I love how they had so many different options for pedicures. I winged it and walked in and they weren’t super busy at all. A woman who gets her nails done here frequently spoke highly of the establishment. So I have it a shot. And let’s just say! I walked out HAPPY, relaxed, and with superb eyebrows ????! I’ll definitely be going back. Update: came back today 05/05 and it seems to be that they would rather not give you what you want and actually what they want you to have. I’ve always gotten a full set with my real nails which are a little longer than the average length at other salons. But was told basically that she refuses to do my nails how I want because they are too long. Kind of wish I knew that before sitting down for my pedicure because I would have went elsewhere.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
The Lady who sat at station #1 with the 2 sets of eyebrows, one her natural the other tattooed in a entire different location. She was very rude. Everything I asked for she had a excuse for why I should get something different or MORE EXPENSIVE. They charged me $10 to remove 3 PRESS-on nails that they plucked off using another nail to lift the 3 press on off. Her station was filthy. Dirty brushes and thick layer of dust on EVERYTHING at the station.I ended up just getting a cheapie set of $25 acrylic nails. And they came out horribly. It’s only been a week and they are already lifting. They use CHEAP products. Please run from this place.
I’ve only been here twice but every time it’s been a super pleasant experience. The staff is knowledgeable, asks questions during your service to become more knowledgeable about your nail history and give you what you want while trying to maintain the health of your nails. They pay attention to detail more than a lot of shops in the area and never rush their services. I’ve never had to wait. Definitely plan to come here consistently.
