The tacos were tasteful and full of meat.
My son had the tacos dorados and loved them.
However we came last year after searching for authentic Mexican food near OCMD, but this year my husband was disappointed with the pork chops as they were completely unseasoned and just bland. The rice seemed to either not be cooked thoroughly and the pupusas weren’t as tasty. I still believe this was just an off day and will be coming back try again. Overall, I’d recommend. The service is pleasant, the horchata is yummy and the tacos and green salsa are amazing!
Excellent tacos and other Mexican foods at very good prices
Stopped randomly on a road trip and it was so good we ate here again on the way back. Nice thick handmade tortillas, juicy flavorful barbacoa, silky beans, fresh spicy salsas. Fast on a weekday but expect to wait a bit on a Saturday. VERY worth it! Easily the best Mexican food I’ve had on the east coast.
Had a wonderful bowl of menudo that is only servidor on Sundays. I could not eat it all. Very fulfilling.
We love small, family run businesses and have been looking for a true Mexican restaurant here on the Shore, and La Sierra is definitely authentic. We had the carnitas platter and chicken enchiladas - both were delicious. The waitresses were friendly and helpful throughout our meal.
The added bonus is being able to pick up some staples and specialty foods in the grocery store.

This little hidden gem was great. I ended up getting authentic pupusas made or loroco and cheese with the slaw. I also ordered shrimp tacos which my wife devoured. So great
It's a little whole in the wall place. Great food. We ate there, most people seemed to be getting Togo orders.
Our meal was great. The restaurant part is located through the grocery towards the back.

Hidden gem in lower Delaware. Dinner was delicious. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. There is a market in the front of the building with a meat department as well. Restaurant is in the back, with seating for dine in or you can do takeout. Staff was super friendly and service was quick. Lots of excellent choices on the menu. Cannot wait to go back.
