Posting for my wife since she doesn't have an account. She went to LA Salon & Spa on Saturday to get a relaxing mani/pedi because it has been a very hard week. While the tech was buffing out her nails she began experiencing pain but thought maybe he's just being thorough. She doesn't like to complain. Apparently he wasn't being careful and was buffing her skin raw on all of her toes with the abrasive material. Then when he put on the other chemicals/alcohol on her now raw/open wounds she was in so much pain she almost went through the roof. She skipped the mani, paid and rushed out and came home crying in pain. She went there to relax, not pay to be tortured and put in agony. These photos were taken a few days later, after it had healed somewhat (browner areas), but you can still see the skin is damaged and still red in some places. This should not happen during a pedicure! She had looked forward to trying LA after reading the reviews, but it was a very bad experience.
Always come here for Hair and Nails and they are the best! Julie is fabulous at anything hair related! Whenever I get nail work done I always get a quality job. Def recommend
I want to start with the tech did a decent job. He was nice and my nails look good. However, I walked in and asked the price for SNS dipping powder. I was told $40. After I was finished, I went to check out. The new receptionist said it was $50. I paid, walked out. It didn’t sit right, I went back in. The manager/owner was at the desk. I asked him the price, he said $45. The receptionist said I had the wrong price because it was a different salon online, I was at a “different “ salon , well my gps brought me here, from the website that clearly said $40. Bottom line, I never got my refund, they kept my money. Life lessons, karma is on them. Save yourself, go somewhere else.
Excellent service! I went in for a pedicure and the lady asked if I would like a manicure (my nails were a short mess). She did a great job, trimmed my nails, cleaned up my cuticles. I am very happy with their service and I will be back!
Joey is the best! I have been going to him for 11 years and even when I move out of state, I always make sure I get an appointment with him when I get to be in town! No matter what crazy ideas I come up with, he always delivers beautifully and brings my hair visions to life!
This is actually Phyllis. Julie was fantastic! She knew instantly what hairstyles would work with my hair type. Then she gave me a Precision cut and styled my hair to look modern and awesome! I love the result. I'm going out tonight to show off my new look. Thank you Julie!
