Nice bit of gluten free carrot cake here, in fact all very nice.

Considering our current situation and how careful we have to be, the experience was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending Kings Oak to any grumbling belly. Safe to say, we're happy to return anytime.

Attached to the King's Oak pub, this cafe serves a familiar fair. I had a bacon and egg sandwich plus a black coffee which cost £6. It seemed very popular with cyclists and walkers alike. Not so much with motorcyclists. Parking is a challenge and the pub car park costs £10 to park in. (Which is redeemed if you are a customer) on a plus side, there are public conveniences which are clean . Large outside area and in an open part of the forest.

Used this place quite a few times over the past year and the friendly staff and good food makes a winning combo. Always happy to accommodate requests where they can. Try mixing halloumi and mushrooms on your burger it tastes amazing.

Friendly staff. Food hot and cold choices. Teas coffees. Dinning is outside.
