Haircut itself is fine, the hairdresser who works later in the week has a bit of an attitude problem,
I would still recommend this shop, however, the lady who works wed-sat doesn't clean the chair before uses, when I asked her where I can sit, she just said "well I would have thought It was obvious".
Not very hygienic which made me uncomfortable and she does not stop talking about herself and all the gossip about other women and the problems she has with the teachers at her daughters school. Very annoying paying for a service and having to listen to someone moaning about everything that they hate about their life.
Very quick service. In and out within 15 minutes. No frills cut, no product or eyebrow offers. Suited me perfectly.
Plenty of good banter with barbers
I visited this hairdressers for a haircut and was greeted by a friendly hairdresser and a skilled stylist who provided excellent service. To my surprise, the haircut was complimentary, leaving me feeling grateful and confident.
I have been a customer of Jo for many years and despite having moved out of the town, I still return to have my haircut which I am always delighted with. The two stylists on a Saturday are always great company and very friendly and welcoming, and I hope to return for many more years. Absolutely first class.
We have always taken our 3 1/2 year old boy here from his first haircut to present and have was always been charged £8 which we thought was acceptable for a 10 minute child’s haircut. Two weeks ago Jodie cut his hair again and charged £11.45 for again less than 10 minutes in the chair. I challenged the price and the response was astonishing saying “we have never charged £8” basically calling me a liar! I then spoke with the owner saying I thought the £11.45 was a bit expensive for a 10 min young child’s cut and he blew me away with his response saying he doesn’t live a millionaire lifestyle and told me to go and get my boys haircut by the foreigners who cut cheaper and they will send your money back to their country, this was not the response I was expecting from an established local business owner. Needless to say I’ll never go back there again. Very rude owner that had an attitude and I thought a bit racist with his comment. Shame really as the staff actually do a nice cut.
I always receive an excellent and friendly service from all the staff at Kents in Droitwich. Jodie and Jo are always chatty and smiling and give a great haircut. The loyalty card scheme mentioned in other reviews would be a good idea and incentive to keep customers returning.
What great place to get a haircut. All the staff are good at what they do, and are both friendly, respectful and professional.
Conversation can be simple or stimulating; depends who you get!!
Today's haircut was with Jo, never met her before and it was a pleasure to sit there, talking whilst my hair was being cut.
Clean, warm and pleasant. Pat was very friendly and did a great job with my hair. Managing to repair a poor haircut from a previous barbers. Very happy and will be a regular now.
