Quick Facts About Justin's

Justin's Place, based on the comments provided, appears to have several strengths and weaknesses.
One of the strengths highlighted by the comments is the friendly staff. Customers appreciate the service provided by the staff, with one comment stating that Justin, the owner, is a gentleman who provides "personnel service to the customers." This positive interaction with staff contributes to the overall positive experience of shopping at Justin's Place.
Another strength of Justin's Place is the availability of fresh vegetables that cannot be found in other shops. One customer specifically mentions the presence of fresh beetroot, which indicates that Justin's Place offers a variety of unique and specialized ingredients. Additionally, the shop carries a great variety of spices, which is also appreciated by customers.
The presence of Christmas trees, wreaths, flowers, and plants is another strength of Justin's Place. Customers mention receiving beautiful flower arrangements from Justin's, and one comment highlights the great Christmas trees available at the shop. This indicates that Justin's Place is able to provide quality floral arrangements and plants for various occasions.
The support for local businesses is also seen as a strength of Justin's Place. One commenter mentions shopping there to support local businesses, which shows that customers appreciate the presence of a local shop that provides a variety of goods.
However, there are also a few weaknesses that can be identified from the comments. One major weakness is the issue with a staff member who insists on customers using a basket. Multiple comments mention this particular woman's behavior, stating that she is rude and impolite when customers do not use a basket. This behavior can negatively impact the shopping experience for customers and create an uncomfortable environment. Some customers even mention being confronted by the owner when they confronted the staff member, indicating that the issue is not resolved or properly addressed.
Another weakness mentioned by one commenter is the perception that the shop is always empty. This commenter assumes that the reason for the lack of customers is due to the staff being "absolutely pig ignorant." This perception of the staff as unpleasant and ignorant can deter potential customers from visiting the shop.
One comment highlights a specific incident where a staff member on the till was racist and made offensive remarks to a customer's wife. The commenter describes the owner's response as unhelpful and dismissive, further indicating a weakness in the way customer complaints and issues are handled at Justin's Place.
In conclusion, Justin's Place has several strengths such as friendly staff, fresh and unique products, and beautiful floral arrangements. However, there are also weaknesses, including the behavior of a staff member who insists on customers using a basket, the perceived lack of customer service and the issue of racism within the shop. These weaknesses can negatively impact the overall shopping experience at Justin's Place.

Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Friendly staff, this place has fresh veg we cannot get in any other shop, like beetroot. They also carry a great varieties of spices. Christmas trees , wreaths and other flowers and plants can be found here. Love this place
I remember the time expired crisps had to be given for free. I think Justin’s great and as a Filipino, it’s awesome to have a local shop that sells Asian goods. But it makes me wonder, why is it that those crisps, of which were brands that are quite popular where I’m from, had to be given away for free when the area has a high Asian population?
Judging from many other reviews I’ve seen here, it looks like there’s an issue with a certain woman that insists on using a basket. I fondly remember a moment where my mother and I didn’t think we’d need a basket because we thought we only needed a few things. But hey, it looks like they knew how to strategically market the placing of their products as we kept picking up everything. It’s a small shop so the two of us carrying everything with our hands didn’t seem like much of a problem. So the brief point here is that markets aim to sell their goods in a way that we purchase them even though we weren’t planning to. Simple tactic I learned in Junior Cert Home Ec and Business Studies, by the way, so you should be proud that this works really well.
So yeah. That one woman that insists on using a basket. No explanation as to why a basket is needed. Just utter impoliteness to harshly grab our items and scold that “If you’re gonna SHOP here, use a BASKET.”
A basket will most certainly be used if we know we need it. But if she considers her attitude and toddler-like temper, I’m not surprised that Justin said “Business isn’t going as well” when EXPIRED crisps had to be given away. If you’re going to be that rude for no reason to customers that rely on this shop for their own comfort and convenience, don’t be surprised if business dwindles. Despite the fact we don’t look like we’re from here, I can assure you that we have survived here because we actually know how to speak English! Can you believe that?! Instead of acting like a reluctant teenager, why don’t you explain why you’d prefer us to use a basket? In a Tesco or Dunnes, people carry their goods in their arms and no one bats an eye. Why must that one woman spit venom upon us for PAYING after carrying their goods and continue business without acting like a reasonable adult and explaining why she wants us to use a basket? Is it because you’re afraid we’ll get our cooties on them?? Is it because you’re afraid we’ll drop them and break them??? How about this: We’re building up the goods we’re carrying and you’re concerned with any of the above. Or even if there’s an ounce of human sympathy in there, we’re starting to look uncomfortable. You COULD approach us, or even tell another staff member to, and say “Hey, it looks like you need a basket.” Isn’t that revolutionary?
We’ve been there for years as this is the only place we can locally source ingredients relevant to our cooking. If she was smart enough, she could realise that going into a shop that sells goods that you can’t find in many other places locally can be a place of joy. I would guess she has never tried to challenge herself and left Ireland because I doubt she would ever understand a concept like that. Also to further expand why I keep shopping here, not only is it because I like to support local businesses, but I was probably too young to notice this teenager disguised as an older woman. It’s only quite recently that I found that this lady is actually quite rude!
It’s appalling to see a very mature lady treat my mother and I like children when all we did was not take a basket. But hey, she must have problems herself that she refuses to take to therapy.
But in any case, if I see her there, I’d try my best to avoid her. In the end, the owner is the lovely Justin who, when my father asked why he has’t retired yet, stated that “I do this to take care of you.”
I believe in Justin and his business. Not only does he sell Asian goods, there’s also wholesale treasures, healthy foods, and plants. But with a woman-baby like that on the job, that is indeed an obstacle for them.
Lady with glasses on till is a racist ,told my wife to go bk to wherever she came from bacause she asked questions about planting,my wife didnt like the way she was spoken to and treated in this shop so confronted the lady on till .so the owner got involved literally shoved her out the door didnt want to know, very grumpy smelly old man.I always wondered why shop is always empty I thought its because all food is out of date but after reading the reviews bout this shop its clearly because staff are absolutely PIG ignorent. avoid this shop at all costs horrible people biggots and racist's.
Great service A Mature Man with hugh
Personnel service to the costomers
He has a word for ever body
The first time I received flowers from Justin's was four years ago after being in hospital, friends sent my a beautiful flower arrangement, I had received other flowers from friends and colleagues, but truly the one from Justin's were the amazing, the various types of flowers (not bulked out with chrysanthemums) and the quality of the flowers were what made the difference. I just received a wonderful bouquet this evening as a gift from Justin's and that is what prompted me to write a review. Beautiful flowers, a stunning bouquet.
Very nice Christmas trees, for good prices.
Justin did the flowers for our wedding recently and we were over the moon with the service. Thanks again for everything.
Justin is a gentleman like everyone says. He creates a lovely Christmas floral centrepiece for tables. I’m only giving it 3 stars as the lady behind the till was very rude to me. She had an issue with me not using a basket to carry my items. I was just carrying them in my hands. Don’t know why it was an issue, I can only think she didn’t want to touch my items after I touched them due to the pandemic but that’s ludicrous. I still have to touch them to place them in a basket. I avoid her like the plague when I see her now. The other ladies working in the shop are generally quite decent.
