Eugene and his wife are so friendly and helpful, Eugene knows his customers by names and there is a large variety of products.
I love them!! It was my first visit and they treated me like a regular. Plus they've got AMAZING products at amazing prices. This is now my place. Can't wait to go back.
Joy Joy Beauty is an amazing place for African ladies to get hair care products, extensions and all sorts of things beauty. But!!! THEY NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB AT THEIR STORE ON HAWTHORNE AVENUE!!! Its disorganised and cramped plus the last time i was there the Chinese man who attended to me practically harassed me because i paid with my husbands card, he refused to complete the sale except i had ID on me. I understand that they're trying to protect their business from fraud, but the way he went about it was not pleasant. Leave a notice on the door if you have to.
It is the only store that carries every hair product I need for my biracial children. I only have come here instead of going to 2-3 different stores for shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer. This store is cluttered with boxes everywhere from the moment you enter. You can not even get to the shoes and jewelry section due to all the boxes. It is very rare to find a price tag on any item in the entire store. All of the employees are extremely helpful and nice.
The store is too crowded with inventory that’s still in the boxes and all over the floor. None of the items are priced so I have to go back and forth to the register to figure out what the price is. Very unorganized and unsafe.

Quite cluttered
The owner is so Pleasant New Year’s Eve I made it there at 6:00 pm closing time! Instead of telling me he was closed he told me hurry snd make it fast.. I watched him say this 7 more times as he serviced his customers he is really a sweetheart snd well appreciated.
This store is great for the most part but every time I go in there I get racially profiled by the exact same Asian man that works there he had purposefully called the police and said I stole lip gloss right after it was already opened in my bag and then he went in the back and grabbed a new lip gloss saying that he was going to call the police and this happens all the time he always thinks I’m stealing so I won’t be going back there again
