Gave a great haircut at a good price, was very professional, and took me with no waiting. (I had called the day before for appointment.) I love it when I can support a local small businessman (he is the owner too).
Update March 2023: If you see an option on his Google listing to "Book" or "Request an appointment" online, don't use them. John only takes appointments by phone. He handles that aspect of the business the same way he handles everything else: with personal service so he can be sure his customers are 100% satisfied. If you're tired of lengthy phone menus and computerized responses, this is the place for you!
It has taken me 70+ years to find the barber I have always wanted. John is a true professional, using a comb and scissors 99% of the time. My hair is thin, fine, and prefers to hang perpendicular to the ground. I have always wanted to be bald. Now I wish I had more hair.
John's prices are, honestly, too low. But that's John. One of the few remaining people in the world who believes in quality service for a decent price. He's also a downright good guy. Another rare characteristic.
Go get the best haircut you have ever had, for the best price around, and enjoy conversing with a very interesting fellow. That is the definition of value.
I added some images of my last three visits. One was after 448 days of growing in the pandemic. Another was after 98 days, and another after 73 days.
Over booked and two guys in front of me. My appointment was at 9:15am and he was over booked that early in the morning. No respect for your time. Find someone else!

I am from Colorado. I was in town visiting for a wedding when I found Johns shop. I came in with the father of the bride and in short time, John had both of us looking excellent for our wedding presentation. I have saved John shop location and will definitely be utilizing his skills any time I visit the area. Highly recommended
