Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Stumbled across this place without realising, despite the big sign at the end of the road! And glad we did! You can't beat a bit of lunch with a view like that! Owners were very friendly and chatty. Stood and had a good laugh for a bit whilst ordering our food. Despite the overall look of the place which is straight out of the 90s and a tad tatty here and there, the food was quite reasonable and we had no complaints. The only thing that I would say is that the benches outside need a revamp! But with the current financial state of the country it's quite understandable that you might not want to spend out to upgrade just yet. We had a very pleasant experience and will definitely revisit next time we're up North.
Love this cafe, very very reasonable prices lovely couple who work really hard always happy n jolly just fantastic home grub n very dog friendly too. Most meals under a fiver steak pudding chips n peas, sausage n mash, cheesy chips you get enough chips for two people to share for a couple of quid the list goes on and they do take aways n lovely cakes drinks n ice cream nice to sit out with your dogs or young family n look across the bay.????????

Quick Facts About Jo-N-Lees Cafe

Jo-N-Lees Cafe has several strengths that make it a popular place to visit. Firstly, many customers appreciate the unexpected discovery of the cafe. Despite its location being marked by a big sign at the end of the road, stumbling across the place adds an element of surprise and excitement to the dining experience.
Another strength is the friendly and chatty owners. Customers enjoy interacting with them and having a good laugh while ordering their food. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners contributes to a pleasant dining experience.
The affordability of the food is also a notable strength. Customers consistently mention the reasonable prices of the meals, with most options being priced under five pounds. This offers great value for money, especially when considering the portion sizes. The presence of a takeaway option is also appreciated by customers, providing convenience for those on the go.
The picturesque view from the cafe is another major strength. With a clear, unobstructed view across the bay and the mountains of the Lake District, customers can enjoy stunning scenery while dining. The large free car park and disabled ramp for access further enhance the convenience and accessibility of the location.
Customers also appreciate the dog-friendly policy of the cafe. Being able to bring their furry friends along adds to the overall enjoyment and makes it a suitable option for pet owners. Families with young children also mention the cafe's suitability, making it a welcoming place for all.
Despite these strengths, there are some weaknesses that customers have identified. One notable weakness is the outdated and slightly tatty appearance of the cafe. The overall look of the place is described as being straight out of the 90s, which might not appeal to those seeking modern and trendy aesthetics. However, it is acknowledged that the current financial state of the country might make it difficult for the owners to invest in a revamp.
Additionally, some customers mention that the benches outside are in need of a revamp. This could be seen as a minor inconvenience, but it is understandable given the financial constraints previously mentioned.
In conclusion, Jo-N-Lees Cafe has several strengths that attract customers. The unexpected discovery, friendly owners, affordable prices, beautiful view, and dog-friendly policy all contribute to a pleasurable dining experience. While some weaknesses are evident, such as the outdated appearance and the need for bench revamps, overall, the strengths outweigh the weaknesses and make Jo-N-Lees Cafe a place worth revisiting.
