I LOVE, Love this nail salon, Kristie always does the BEST JOB on my nails and my daughter's nails! My daughter is a HUGE Harry Styles fan, and the creation that Kristie and my teens come up with is amazing! Our nails are LONG and STRONG due to how well they are taken care of. We travel to see her and Carolyn, the BOTH are excellent as making us feel pampered each and every time. Thank you all for taking care of us ever two weeks, you are appreciated.
I stopped goin here years ago, went back because my nail tech was out of town and I was desperate!! I’m guessing the rude owner hired the black girl to bring in the black customers but unfortunately she’s horrible. My entire full set was put on crooked, the length of all of my nails are different. I see the brush strokes on every nail . After 3 days all of my nails are already lifting. DO NOT get your nails done here.
I’ve visited this location a few occasions and received service from nail tech Kristie I believe she is the owner of the salon. After close observation of kristy of the way she handles her customers she picks and chooses the customers that she wants to make exceptions for. The hours say that they close at 7pm I visited the salon at approx 6:20 at the time there was only one person in the chair and the only person in the salon. Kristy asked when I walked in how can I help you I proceeded with advising that I would like a full set she than mumbled something on the lines of she didn’t have time and after turning my back she asked another worker did she want to do my nails and and heard her say no. It’s quite UNPROFESSIONAL OF YOU TO ASK SUCH A THING! In conclusion I would like to say that I would NEVER recommend this nail salon to anyone. You don’t pick and choose which customers you want to stay late for and which ones you’d like to close early for. Also the phone number for the salon doesn’t even work how unprofessional and inconvenient to paying customers. Do better Kristy I thought you were a better woman but it saddens me that you are not.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! The Blackk lady who does the pedicures need to QUIT I spent $43 and my feet looked worse when I left. Save yall money and STAY AWAY!! I wish I could upload pictures!!
I typically avoid leaving poor reviews but felt it was necessary as there seem to be so many great reviews for this salon.
I give three stars because my pedicure was lovely and they even corrected my polish when it would not dry. And because the salon seems clean.
I cannot say the same for my pink&white gel nails. I'm not sure if the lighting in the salon is poor(I didn't notice the flaws until I arrived home) or if the tech was just super inexperienced. The gel is incredibly thick, it does not blend well into my cuticle are. On several of my nails, the gel goes all the way over my cuticle area. One of my nails is ridiculously misshaped and the gel lapped all the way onto my skin. Not one of my nails is smooth or rounded correctly... After drying my nails with a light, the tech applied oil without ever wiping my nails down with alcohol, but I didn't realize this until I was home. My nails were incredibly sticky until I wiped them down with alcohol at home. I also have several cuts on my fingers and gel build up under my nails that was not properly removed.
My nails are hideous. I can't imagine how awful they will look when they've grown out for a couple of weeks.
the nail techs are super sweet and good at nails and designs; however the majority of the fellow customers are unbelievable rude and inconsiderate throughout the visit.
To clarify my original review, I am a weekly customer who has been telling everyone I know to come to your new salon because the ladies do fabulous work. I came in this morning with my friend as usual and was told to come back in 30 minutes. We were NEVER told we needed to sign in OR make an appointment like other salons in the area run. We did as we were told and came back in your salon 30 minutes later. I went to pick out a color, customers were rude, reaching across me and practically pushing me out of the way to get what color they wanted, now as you cannot control how others act, I went and sat back down. The owner came up and asked who was next, I spoke up and said we were here thirty minutes ago and were told to come back, so we did. Then this extremely rude person spoke up and said "um no, I was here before them". The owner took everyone else before they took us AFTER we had already been there and come back like she had asked us to do. So we ended up waiting another hour. You stated I'm reckless and irresponsible, but yet it seems the owner who told me to come back neglected to tell us we needed to sign in and then knowing she had told us that, did not explain to the other customer that we had been there and that she had failed to tell us to sign in. So shame on her. That was extremely poor customer service to two regular customers
To comment back to the "owner" since you have seemed to block me from seeing your responses, I want any one that does take the time to read these comments to know that I support small businesses and the work and attitude of the nail techs is very good, the customer atmosphere is not. They do have control over it considering they have multiple signs in the store saying "if your child does not behave you will be asked to leave" and further more, the person writing these reviews is not the owner , I've spoke with her and she's very sweet. The person writing these is the big "body guard" just sitting at the counter by the door. And where was he when we were suppose to "sign in"? Not there.
Friend and I tried this salon for the first time last week. The pictures looked nice online and upon walking in it was pleasant and welcoming. The wait was extremely long due to "6 people being out" per the owner. When we finally got seated for our pedicures, we had to adjust the temp of our water at least 3 times because we sat there again for another 15 or 20 minutes before someone started on us. The girl that did my pedicure seemed to be inexperienced. She trimmed my nails, gave me the massage and then the owner came to paint them. Upon checking out, I was charged for 2 pedicures. They wouldn't refund the money back to my card so I was given cash instead. The next day my toe was infected and I found out by an urgent care provider that she had cut me on the side of my nail and am now on antibiotics. Will not be returning. We will stick with our usual place, next to Target.
Salon is beautiful. Service was great. The staff that I encountered was soo nice! It is hard to rate a business on the work of one person. I hate to leave bad reviews. Upon further inspection once I got home, I noticed that my nails were very sloppy. I got a full set and similar to previous reviewer stated. My nails are flat and not curved on top at all. Acrylic on my cuticles and a couple misshapen nails. Polish doesn't even go all the way to the sides of my nails. I think the tech needs a desk lamp to see better. I came because I wanted to support a local, cultural business. Ill give it another shot for my fill in because there are a ton of great reviews.
**update, went back for a fill and I was very well taken care of..Nails are fab!
